2 DAY SKILLS WORKSHOP & COMPETENCY BASED ASSESSMENTSUITABLE FOR: PSYCHOLOGISTS WHO HAVE HELD REGISTRATION FOR MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS
The 2 days skills workshop and competency based assessment has been developed in accordance with the training framework and standards of the Board as specified in the PsyBA’s ‘Guidelines for supervisors and supervisor training providers’. The programs are designed to meet the needs of registered psychologists who seek or wish to retain supervisor endorsement for supervising:– 4 + 2 internship program– 5 + 1 internship program
Eligibility:Psychologists who have held registration for a period of two years are eligible to undertake the 2 day Skills Based Workshop. You will also need to complete and demonstrate completion of the Online Knowledge assessment. This can be completed with an alternate organisation.

processes• Stages of Supervision Relationships• Different challenges in the individual psychologist’s stage of
provisional registration and your own supervision experience• Giving Difficult Feedback• Legal and regulatory obligations for the supervisor• Case discussion• Dealing with a mismatch
Outcomes:After completing this master class you will be able to retain your status as a supervisor.

Psychology Manager, Learning LinksMichelle has had over 14 years’ experience working in the area of educational psychology including work in a mental health setting to support children and adults in being able to access mental health services in rural and remote areas.She is an Educational & Developmental Psychologist and a member of the College of Educational & Developmental Psychologists with the Australian Psychological Society. She completed a Masters of Psychology majoring in Education and Development and completed a Masters of Education majoring in Special Education. Michelle is an authorised supervisor allowing her to supervise provisional psychologists. She has supported over 100 provisional psychologists complete their registration.
