SEVERIN has launched new coffee makers with grinder in order to offer connoisseurs the ultimate in aromatic filter coffee. Prior to brewing, the coffee beans are freshly ground according the user's individual grinding specifica-tions. And if you happen to be out of coffee beans, it's possible to deactivate the grinder and brew pre-ground coffee.

Recipe suggestion The legendary “espresso martini” – a coffee cocktail full of elegance

- 1 espresso- 30 ml of vodka- 30 ml of Frangelico- 6 ice cubes- 5 g of sugar- ½ Gianduiotto Praline- 100 ml of cappuccino milk

Just prepare an espresso and add sugar. Add the ice cubes, the sweet coffee, the vodka and the Frangelico liqueur to the shaker. Shake well and then pour the content stylishly into a martini glass.

For the special look halve a Gianduiotto praline and incise it in a way that it can be placed directly on the edge of the glass. Prepare cold milk foam, put a small topping on the cocktail and decorate with a few coffee beans.

Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into eight pieces. Peel and slice the oranges. Assemble the Slow Juicer and insert the strainer for jam. Add the apples and oranges one after the other and process.

Pour juice and pomace into a saucepan, add jam sugar, amaretto, spices and lemon juice and cook during constant stirring for about 5 minutes. Fill the finished jam in hot rinsed glasses. After filling screw the glasses and let stand for a few minutes upside down.

Ingredients: 500 g large, juicy tomatoes

Wash tomatoes and cut into pieces. Assemble the slow juicer and use the coarse sieve insert. Add the tomato pieces and process.

Afterwards mix the juice and pulp together and pro-cess further. Perfect for pasta or pizza.

Recipe A Winter apple and orange marmalade

- 100 g honeydew melon- 200 g red cooked beetroot (vacuum-packed)- 8 EL tablespoons yogurt- 20 mint leaves

Peel and dice the melon. Dice the beetroot (caution: The strong red juice leaves stubborn stains, we re-commend using disposable gloves). Freeze beetroot, honeydew melon and mint for at least 4 hours. Use the frozen-fruits insert in the slow juicer. Mix the frozen ingredients with the yoghurt and put everything together in the slow juicer.

Well before the annual barbecue season starts, the production lines at our SEVERIN head quater in Sundern/Sauerland get started. A three-piece moun-ting system with most modern control technology enables high flexibility and economy. If desired, the assembly lines can be set to the manufactured artic-le in short time. A draw press with a pressing force of 300 tons enables a pulling force of 130 tons. This power allows to process pull-resistant materials such as stainless steel.

We sustainably invest in the German production to be well prepared for the barbecue season in the future and to serve the steadily growing demand from our production site in Sundern.
