Subject:, Grant in aid under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Multi sectoral Development Programme for

minorities to Government of UP for the year 2010-11 for Bahraich District.

Sir,In continuation to this Ministry's sanction letter of even number dated 01/07/09 for releasing

of 15` instalment, I am directed to convey the sanction of the President for release of an amount of

Rs.10,42,71 ,000/- (Rupees ten crore forty two lakh and seventy one thousand only) as 2°d stalment

(50% of total central share) of the total sanctioned amount of Rs. 20,85,42, 000/- (Rupees twenty crore

eighty five lakh and forty two thousand only) for the year 2010-11 to the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh for

implementing the scheme "Multi Sectoral Development Programme for minorities" for Bahraich district asper the details enclosed at Annexure-I. The non-recurring grant may be released to the Govt. of Uttar

Pradesh through CAS, Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur.

2. The expenditure is debitable to Demand No.66, Ministry of Minority Affairs Major Head- "3601"Grant-in-aid to State Government, 04-Grants for Central Plan Scheme (Sub Major Head), 378 -General-(Welfare of Schedule Casts/Schedule Tribes and Other Backward Classes) -other grants, 04 - Multi SectoralDevelopment Programme for minorities, 04:00.35 - Grant for the'creatiof of capital assets year 2010-11.

3. A copy of the Utilization certificate of l st installment. is enclosed. Further it is certified that

no UC is pending for this programme.

4. Utilization Certificate for this grant should be submitted by the grantee in the prescribed formatwithin 12 months of the closure. of the financial year. As per the conditions contained in para 15.4 of theguideline of Multi sectoral Development Programme, (i) Quarterly Progress Report, (ii) Photographs of theworks completed from earlier releases and (iii) work plan for the requisitioned amount may also be

furnished.

5. The State Government should ensure that a board containing information of the date of sanction ofthe project, likely date of completion, estimated cost of the proje^tc ource of funding i.e. MsDP(Government of India), contractor(s) name and the physical target is displayed. After completion of projects,

a permanent display would be installed.

6. Utilisation -of the above mentioned amount by the State Government is subject to the terms and

conditions enclosed at annexure-II.

7. This sanction issues with concurrence of IFD vide their Dy. No.542/IFD dated. 18.08.10. It is noted

at S. No.12 in the Grant-in-aid Register.
