NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
The next few days will be your introduction to student life at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. You’ll learn about the resources available to you, begin to navigate campus, and meet the faculty and staff here who will teach and support you. We hope you’ll make a few friends and have some fun along the way.
Our team of orientation leaders is here to guide you as you make UAF your home. These experienced students know the ins and outs of UAF and are ready to answer your questions.

Need a ride? We’ll offer continuous shuttle service from the Fairbanks International Airport to the Moore-Bartlett-Skarland Complex.
8 a.m.-3 p.m. Rev-It-Up and Check-in
Moore-Bartlett-Skarland Complex
Your one-stop shop to check in for New Student Orientation, move into the residence halls, set up email, check on financial aid, buy a parking decal, get a PolarExpress card and more — all in one convenient location.
8 a.m.-3 p.m. ALEKS Math Placement
Moore-Bartlett-Skarland Complex computer lab
Nearly every program requires a math course. Your scores help to place you in math and other core classes that have a math prerequisite. We have a computer lab available to take the assessment. You should plan for 90 minutes to complete it.

Show your spirit in this blue and gold-filled event that will keep you on your feet and cheering. You’ll also meet your orientation leader and get to know the rest of the incoming class.
