Why should you sign up for Connect-Ed to get an emergency message?

An emergency can happen at any time and any place. Having a way for Front Range Community College to contact you helps ensure that you will get the necessary notification and information as quickly as possible. Therefore, Front Range Community College encourages everyone on campus to sign up for this new emergency notification service, and also to become aware of the various programs, initiatives, and practices already in place aimed at making the campus the as safe and secure as possible.

To sign up for Connect-Ed, Log in to eWOLF and on the Welcome tab look for "emergency notification system." Then follow the instructions.

The Front Range Community College Connect-Ed/mass notification system will be deployed under the following conditions: • When a dangerous situation exists on campus that could impact safety (for

example, a dangerous person, bomb threats, fires, chemical release or other event requiring immediate action).

• When urgent conditions affect the status of the campus (e.g. earthquake, weather, wildfire, etc.)

Once initiated, Connect Ed will begin contact based on the information you provide.

Front Range Community College is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information provided to the campus by faculty, staff, and students. Thus, Front Range Community College has ensured that Connect-Ed has all data transmitted to and from users utilizes Secured Socket Layers (SSL)

If you see, hear, or otherwise notice anything suspicious, please report it to your Westminster Campus Security & Preparedness Department
