Why Teen Confidential?Webster defines confidence as “ The faith or belief that you are acting in a right, proper or effective manner.” Today teens are often not confident in many social and professional situations, as the proper dining, etiquette and social skills are rarely taught in our society. The speed at which most of us live and the lack of understanding of how we learn or obtain confidence has created a vacuum in this area in the youth of America.

There is a new epidemic in America today, bigger than depression and anxiety and it is called “FTT” or “Failure-to-Thrive.” This epidemic is due in part to a lack of confidence found in young people today. This is backed up by a study conducted by the Stanford Research Institute, Harvard University, and the Carnegie Foundation, that states 85% of your professional success is attributed to your social skills, or polish and only 15% from your technical knowledge.  That is not saying that education is not important, but what it is saying is that when you compare two equally qualified employment candidates, the skills of polish they have acquired in their life will provide a competitive advantage when competing in the real world. So, if polish is so important, how much time is being invested in understanding this skill?

Teen Confidential is a program developed for the teen preparing for success in life. The benefits realized from understanding the skills provided in this program are some of the greatest investments you can make in your teen. This investment will pay dividends for a lifetime.

Come take this journey along with us!
