The program is supported by research evidence and international experts in the field and is based on Parenting Guidelines that were published in partnership with beyondblue and have been accessed by thousands of parents internationally.” I would like to thank all the staff for their continued hard work and commitment to the education of the students, and also the parent/community helpers who give their time to assist in classrooms with reading and other activities. Camp Australia – Quarry Hill OSHC

The children have been having lots of fun in after school care. They have been enjoying the outdoors on the playground and active group games in the open space, when weather has permitted. Next week is NAIDOC Week and we are doing some activities that reflect the Aboriginal culture, some of the activities we will be doing are making a didgeridoo and dot paintings. We will discuss a little bit about the culture and see what the children can contribute. The children still have lots of activities to do and toys to play with, such as arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, blocks, books and colouring. We often do some cooking activities that the children get to eat for second snack. Hats are not necessary for term 2 and 3, although we still use sunscreen to protect us from the UV rays. We provide sunscreen, but if the children prefer their own, they are welcome to use that instead. This is the last week of school, so if you’re not sure what to do on the holidays, book into Holiday Club and join in the fun. We have two Programs running with heaps of activities for the children to do, so please feel free to enquire if you’re interested and hopefully I will see you there. We are still collecting the Marvel Hero Connector Discs to play with in after school care, so if you have any spares you don’t need we would really appreciate you donating them to us. On Friday school finishes at 2:30pm, so we will be here early for those children that are coming to after school care, where we have even more time to have fun. You’re welcome to call in and check out our service and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you would like to book in or for any extra information please contact our friendly Customer Service team, who will be happy to help you. Hope to see you soon. Tara and Luana.
