WHAT IS IT?Quick Link System is a method to reliably terminate an A/V panels’ connectors to incoming/outgoing wires from the facility WITHOUT the use of solder.

HOW DO WE MAKE IT?In cooperation with the installer, Pro Co pre-cuts the wire runs to length, installs the E-3s and whatever other connectors are needed on the wire, and preps the wire for conduit pull. The installer pulls the wire and terminates the labeled wires to the labeled terminals on the panel.

WHAT DOES IT DO?Quick Link Solution eliminates soldering by using easy to connect industry-standard EDAC E-3 connectors, thus reducing installation time. Pro Co pre-wires the panel and labels all terminations prior to shipping. The installer crimps the mated E-3 to the incoming/outgoing wires (or Pro Co can also do that at the factory).

WHY DOES IT EXIST?To completely take the time and labor of soldering out of the field, with no degradation of signal, reliability or value to the facility.

WHO WANTS/NEEDS IT?Every A/V integrator

WHY DO THEY NEED IT VS. WHAT IS ALREADY OUT THERE?It can save thousands of dollars on install labor costs with no reduction in value. It was designed to eliminate soldering from the field altogether.

WHAT DOES IT COST?Added costs for the QLS quickly become a non-factor when you take into account how much money you’ll save on labor for this part of the installation. In most cases, spend 20%-30% more on the cost of panel and wire, but save up to 50% on the total cost of every panel termination.

WHERE IS IT MADE?Pro Co Sound in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

HOW CAN IT COMPETE?By significantly saving installers time and money, and reducing potential installation errors.

WHAT IS IT?Momentum is comprised of three components: a digital audio snake, a digital facility wiring system and a user-controlled wireless stage monitor mixer.

WHAT DOES IT DO?Momentum replaces analog audio wiring in large-venue facilities, like churches, !eld houses, concert halls, !ne arts centers, sporting arenas, racetracks and airports.

HOW DO WE MAKE IT?Momentum was designed from the ground up to replace analog wiring with modern computer technology (a network) and CAT6 digital cable to replace 50-year old installation technology.

WHY DOES IT EXIST?Because the industry has been begging for it. The need has been here for several years and the digital technology has caught up to the technical needs of modern performance, and the price is now competitive with analog installations.

WHO WANTS/NEEDS IT?New facility sound systems are less expensive to install, have more "exibility for the user and were designed for easy expansion. Momentum is also great for replacing existing facility sounds systems. You can expand your existing capabilities while saving on labor costs by not having to pull expensive copper snakes through large conduit. The momentum CAT6 cable can be installed through existing conduit.

DBA1Product Information Guide

TM

The DBA1 New to Pro Co’s line of Trade Tools is the DBA1, the !rst active direct box o#ered by the industry leader in pro audio direct boxes. While the extra robust case looks the same as the DB1, one of the industry’s top passive direct boxes, that’s where the similarities end. Under the utilitarian cover beats the heart of a thoroughbred. The DBA1 o#ers both electronic balancing and impedance matching. It features a $” input and a parallel $” output, plus an unbalanced XLR input for easy line checks.

Also on the input side is a two step PAD for up to 40dB of attenuation and a clip indicator to warn when the input is being overdriven. On the output side, is a balanced XLR output, a ground lift switch, and a phantom power indicator to con!rm the presence of phantom power at the mic cable. The DBA1 utilizes Pro Co’s industry leading MBT1 isolation transformer for signal-path decoupling. Low noise, a high dynamic range, and extended frequency response makes the DBA1 a great choice for all active direct injection needs.

DB2Product Information Guide

TM

The DB-2 New to Pro Co’s line of Trade Tools™ is the DB-2 Stereo Direct Box. Built on the industry standard DB-1 design, the DB2 has all the same engineering that has made the DB1 one of the most popular direct boxes in pro audio today, along with the convenience of having two discrete audio channels in one package.

The DB2 features two $” inputs with parallel $” outputs, a -30dB pad for each input (Fig. 1) and two XLR male balanced outputs with a ground lift switch (Fig. 2).

Because of the inputs’ ultra-high impedance loading, the DB2 is suitable for any high impedance instrument from electronic keyboards to electric guitars. The DB2 uses 2 DBT1 transformers, utilizing MU metal cans for the best in RF/EMF rejection.

As an added feature, when used with a single input, the DB2 acts as a transformer-isolated split, providing two balanced outputs from a single input. Low noise and high dynamic range makes the DB2 an excellent choice for all passive direct injection needs.

AV1AOur popular AV1A is used to connect !lm projector’s speaker output as well as other common line level devices, to a low impedance, balanced microphone input of a mixing console.

IT1While the IT1 is not, technically speaking, a direct box, it is a very useful interface tool. It provides a balanced line level, transformer isolated output from a typical line level source either balanced or unbalanced. Because of the isolation, the IT1 is very useful tool for eliminating unwanted hums and buzzes in the audio path. The loop-out feature of the IT1 allows it to be used as a line level splitter.

On the surface, the iFace may appear to be just another direct interface (DI). But in fact when you take a closer look, you will !nd it very speci!cally designed to achieve the goal of interfacing portable audio devices and laptop computers to professional mixing consoles. The iFace, as well as the entire line of iFamily products, e#ectively accepts the headphone outputs from common portable audio devices and laptop computers, and converts and isolates the signal for balanced inputs on mixing consoles.Other iFamily products available: iPatch, iPlate, iRack.

Rack-mountable, four channel version of the IT1. Useful for large sound system applications where reliable, multi-channel isolation and line splitting are required.

Product Information GuideDrop Snakes

They feature our AC4 and AC8 Acculink cable that is individually jacketed and labeled, with a tough PVC overall jacket. The premium cable is terminated with a ruggedly built, extruded aluminum stage box on one end, and a fan-out on the other end.

The box end is a single row panel designed for side-addressed connections and is labeled for either right or left orientation, making concealment easy.

With a 12 inch fan on the other end, the end user will have a total reach of nearly 24 inches, more than enough to reach across most input panels.

The Drop Snakes come in two standard con!gurations with two lengths and channel counts available for each.

1. Standard XLR unidirectional 2. Combo/$” version with male TRS connectors on the fan and combination $” and XLR female connectors at the box end

Both con!gurations come in either 4 or 8 channels, and come standard in 25’ and 50’ lengths.

Application: The $” combo con!guration is useful for direct connection into standard $” balanced patch bays and is equally as useful as a headphone distribution snake.
