Night live aboard.

Floating in the sparkling turquoise waters just off the southwest coastare 13 small islands called the Southwest Gilis. The Southwest Gilisare largely uninhabited and have yet to be discovered by mosttravellers, offering pristine white sandy beaches, sparkling turquoisewater and an abundant underwater world…thus we call them “theMaldives of Indonesia”.

Day 1: Departing 9am from Serangan Harbour to Gili Gede.

Lunch on board, before heading off to snorkel the deserted island of Gili Asahan.

Gili Gede is the largest island and provides a range of activities such as hiking to the hills in thecentre for fantastic views across the other islands, exploring deserted beaches and hidden covesand meeting the people living on the island who are very friendly and, as yet, unspoilt by tourism.

Enjoy sunset followed by dinner on Basilea.

Day 2: Start your day with a beautiful swim in the crystal,turquoise waters before enjoying a sumptuous morningbreakfast.

Short sail to Gili Lontar, a beautiful uninhabited sandyisland that is surrounded by plentiful reef and turquoisewaters. Enjoy snorkeling before lunch.

Anchor up and hoist the sails for a short sail and overnight off Gili Nanggu

Day 3 Swim ashore to the soft white sand of Gili Nanggu for a morning walk around the island. Breakfastwill be served on your return onboard.

If you would like to do some more snorkeling before we set sail now is the time.

Anchoring just off Cocotinos Resort in Sekotong. Fronting the resort is a glorious white sand beachwhich spans over 300m and a private cove. We will stop here for lunch and if you would like tobook in for a massage, Laleina spa on the waterfront is a must.

Sunset drinks & canapés on board Basilea, some more swimming before a spectacular dinner isserved.

Day 4: Morning swim, before hoisting the sails and sailing to the 3 secret treasures in the sea Gili Renngitt,Layar and Asahan. Try your luck at fishing or just sit back and enjoy the beautiful sail.

We will spend the day here as this offers the chance to snorkel the abundant coral reefs that lay justbelow the surface waiting to be explored, filled with thousands of brightly coloured tropical fish, hugesprawling blue starfish and magical turtles gently gliding through the water. The beaches are linedwith shells washed up by the tide and the temptation to take home these pretty souvenirs isirresistible. A day spent playing in the water, snorkelling above the colourful coral and beachcombing the shores is a tonic for the soul in this magical and pristine environment.

Lunch will be enjoyed on the deserted white sand beaches, whilst dinner will be that BBQ fish youcaught this morning, under the stars of course.

Day 5: The sparkling turquoise water awaits before tucking into breakfast. Maybe a quick snorkel before ashort sail back to Marina Del Ray, Gili Gede.

Transferred back to Serangan Harbour on Gili Gede Fast Boat.

About Moyo Island

Pulau Moyo (Moyo Island) is a small but is with its wealth of natural beauty a tremendous attraction and a mostly

unknown world-class tourist destination. Some famous people like Lady Diana and Mick Jagger have visited this

island for their holiday.

Moyo Island is located about 2,5 km north of the island of Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara Province and has a size

of 330 square km, a shoreline of 88km and its highest point at 671 meters above sea level.

Moyo Island offers a stunning unique nature with beautiful beaches and clear blue sea and is popular with

domestic as well as foreign tourists looking for peace and a quiet place to spend their holidays. The island is still

pristine and still many animals live here in their natural habitat, such as butterflies which can be seen flying

behind the bushes trees and in the savannah. As many as 86 species of birds live on the island, including parrots

and 21 species of bats, macaques, pigs deer and snakes. To keep the island intact, visitors are urged to use a

guide while tracking on the island.

There are numerous waterfalls, rivers and stretches of jungle still untouched. You can go hiking in the woods,

along the streams and rivers and in caves. One of them is close to the Ai Manis beach and can be reached by

climbing the cliff. The cave is filled with hundreds of bats. A nice waterfall, the Air Terjun Brang Rea, is in the

centre of the island and can be reached by a two hours trek from Labuhan Haji.

But you can also go off the island and see the underwater world near Moyo Island by diving or snorkeling. Almost

the entire surroundings of the island are still intact and you can see beautiful corrals, sponges, crustaceans, small

sharks (well, about two meters in length), eels, anemones, and even mantas. If you are lucky you can see a group

of flying fish jumping out of the water. You can also go diving near the island Medang, west of Pulau Moyo.

Moyo is a popular destination for yachts from Bali, Lombok and abroad. To the east is a tiny island, Pulau Satoda

which has a salt water lake in the middle of the island.

About the Maldives of Indonesia and Gili Gede Island

explores a group of tiny islands whose

days of anonymity are numbered.

"IT'S low season, there will be bungalows, no

one knows about Gili Nanggu."

No one was picking up the phone at this little-

known resort on a minuscule island off

Lombok's south-western peninsula so,

running out of options, I called a local booking

agent. "Charter a fishing boat and just turn

up," he said, encouragingly. I collected my

bags, walked to the nearest beach and

cornered a fisherman who knew not a word of

English. I pointed seaward, repeating

"Nanggu" like a chant and flashed him a

50,000 rupiah ($5.30) note. We motored

noisily - the engines used by local Sasak

fishermen are much like those used by their

Thai counterparts on long boats - across a sweeping bay, passing many uninhabited islands where coconut fronds

beckoned drunkenly on the afternoon breeze.

"Nanggu," my driver said, sticking his arm out at a tiny islet to port where turquoise water lapped at a deserted,

wide, white beach that encircled it entirely. Beyond that, the jungle grew undisturbed except for a smattering of

dilapidated bungalows. He checked his speed and we ambled in to a ramshackle jetty where two guards with guns

waited. They wouldn't help us tie up, instead I held on to the jetty as an irritated Indonesian walked quickly

towards me. "Who are you?" he asked. I requested a room. He shook his head violently. "But I've come all this

way," I said. "Full," he answered. Trapped in an awkward pause, I held my ground. "OK," he said finally. And

that's how I became the unlikeliest new member of Jakarta-based transport company SDM Selaris, who'd hired out

the entire island for their annual general meeting.
