New York Café
The most beautiful café in the world. The New York Café has won this honourable title in 2012 on an international voting and since that time it is wearing this title proudly, sith nobody finds more beautiful than our café anywhere in the world. Not only beautiful and elegant but also superlative in its atmosphere. Live piano music makes more enjoyable the pleasure of the relaxation. Due to this you can lose yourself in the past, at the same time you can enjoy the tastes of the present, either it is a tasty coffee, tea, hot chocolate…or a substantial lunch . The New York Palace is one of the most symbolic and compelling buildings of the Nagykörút (Grand Boulevard). The ground-floor café is the most empathic part of the marvellous building, next to the windows of which 16 devil fauns - "El Asmodáj", the ancient figures of coffee and thinking - are stylically presented, holding a lamp, this way also denoting the spirit of the New York Café. The inner space is decorated with bronze statues, the ceiling with original pannos. Visitors are amazed by the fountain at the entrance and the chandeliers from Venice in the halls.
Salon Restaurant
The New York Palace’s fine dining restaurant is that place where our guests can get acquainted with the pure Hungarian tastes in the form of the 21st century. In elegant, however in homely ambiance we display to our guests the essential Hungarian gastronomy which is not else than the insistence to the traditions dreamt in reconsiderated form – and served. The enjoyment of our dishes we raise with the most excellent Hungarian wines. The Salon Restaurant is internationally acclaimed and appreciated: in this year it appeared in every important and standard restaurant guide between those 10 most important restaurants which you have to certainly try out . In the different gastronomic orders it successively keeps upwards.
Deepwater Restaurant,Marble Salon
If we wish to be left alone, or discretion and intimacy is important. All that complemented with the intentness and outstanding service of the staff of the New York Café. One of the impressive salons at the lower levels of the Café opens from the Deep water restaurant and is called the Marble Salon. It boasts numerous famous historical figures, and authentic gypsy music. It used to be the haunt spot for those seeking shelter from jazz music. Due to the Salon’s atmosphere it is ideal for wedding celebrations, elegant business dinners and other special occasions.
