The Caroma Care Suites are designed to provide a raised seat height of 460mm for persons with X accessible applications. For compliance to NZS 4121.1 it is necessary to provide a pan projection of 700mm to 750mm to the front of the pan.

Important: Reference must be made to NZS 4121.1 with current amendments to determine circulation space, grab rail and installation requirements. The dimensions in this sheet may change with amendments to the standard.

Seats: The following seats are specific for care installations: Colani disabled, Caravelle Care and Pedigree II Care which are available in Caroma White, Sorrento Blue and Anthracite Grey. Refer to specific product page for recommended seat.

Position of the Pan:

For wheel chair access the installed pan must be a minimum of 700 to 750mm maximum from the front of the pan to the finished wall and provide a seat height of 460mm.

All height dimensions to underside of pan, make allowance for mortar bedding.

Mortar bedding: The pan should be fixed to the floor with a sand cement mixture of 3:1 to a depth of 60mm. When bedded the back of the foot of the pan should be approximately 10mm above the finished floor.

Screw fixing: The pan should be bedded with an acetic cured silicone sealant (15mm max. height) and fixed with corrosion resistant screws and pan guard washers.

Bracket fixing: The pan should be bedded with an acetic cured silicone sealant and fixed with the D82 Fixing Brackets supplied.

Position of Cistern:

The height of the push button must be a minimum of 600mm and no greater than 1100mm to the top of the push button and positioned within the push button zone or on the centre line of the pan.

Installation: The installation of the toilet suite shall be in accordance with the normal minimum drainline grade requirements in AS/NZS 3500.2.

Dimensions: All dimensions are in millimetres and are subject to normal manufacturing variations. Caroma pursues a policy of continuing improvement in design and performance of its products. The right is therefore reserved to vary specifications without notice.

The 4.5/3 dual flush Leda Care Invisi Series II® matched suite is designed to provide a raised seat height of 460mm for accessible applications. For compliance to NZS 4121.1 it is necessary to locally extend the wall out to provide pan projection of 700mm to 750mm to the front of the pan. The pan connection system includes the patented Caroma Uni-Orbital® connector that extends to any position in a 25mm radius, unlike traditional connectors that only move backwards and forwards. The setout range is from 60mm – 170mm from the back of the pan with a recommended setout of 90mm. Concealed cistern and plumbing fittings provide space saving, ease of cleaning and performance matched components to maximise flushing efficiency.

Pan: Leda Care 4.5 litre full flush wash down box rim type.

Traps: Universal trap.

Inlet: 50mm back inlet. A 40mm kee-seal is available.

Cisterns: Invisi Series II® cistern – suitable for inwall, induct and inceiling applications. Important: Working pressure minimum 30kPa to maximum 1000kPa flow pressure. Rain water tank compliant.

Buttons: Invisi II Raised Care Buttons sold separately.

Seats: Caravelle Care double flap seat is provided as standard with this suite, and are available in Caroma White (W), Sorrento Blue (SB) and Anthracite Grey (AG).
