Sewickley your home.
We are a diverse group withvarying interests and at
various stages of our lives.Ladies meet once a month;September through May forfun and informative pro-grams. There are many spe-cial interest groups that meetthroughout the month.
Our newsletter highlights aschedule of activities anddetails of meetings and pro-grams each month.

From The PresidentHappy Spring Newcomers & Neighbors!! Let's hope the coldweather has passed so we can get out and enjoy our beautifulvillage...without a coat :)!
I'd like to take this opportunity to announce that Andrea Hop-kins-Green has graciously offered to be our President for nextyear's Newcomer season. I am SO thrilled because I knowshe'll be amazing. Thank you Andrea!!! Christen MacKenziehas also stepped up to become Social Chair. What a greatteam...thank you Christen!!
We've certainly had a busy month and it's not slowing down.Read on to check out what fun we have in store for this month!

SAVE THE DATE!Save the Date for the Spring Fling on Saturday, May 18!
Held at the Hyeholde Restaurant from 7 to midnight, this event will be com-plimentary to members and include heavy hors doeuvres and entertainment.

Helping Hands provides meals to Sewickley
neighbors who have recently experienced a
stressful event in their lives, such as the
birth of a child, serious illness, or loss of a
loved one. To request assistance, or to
volunteer preparing and delivering meals,

Couples Night Out
Spring Beer Tasting!
Couples Afternoon Out will be at Sidelines BeerHouse in Sewickley.
April 20th
2 PM -4ish Tasting (of course we can allhang out after and talk about our favorite beers)$25 (plus tax) per person purchase tickets in ad-vance at Sidelines in person or over the phone. 412-741-0300

Newcomers is a busy group! With all sorts of groups and activities, sometimes it's hard to keep up with everything that'sgoing on. But we can help! If you use any of the common calendar programs (Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCal), wecan synch the Newcomers calendar to your existing program. No juggling necessary. And best of all, you'll never missone of our great events again.

Treasurers Message
Thanks to everyone who has participated in our events
this month. Membership dues have been used to help
support the very successful Easter Egg Hunt in March
hosted by Playgroups. As well used funds to purchaseappetizers at the March Program and March Girls
Night Out and paid for the bowling costs at our Cou-
ples Night Out at Latitude 40.
Thanks to the event organizers for continuing to pro-
vide us with great events and using our membership
dues so well!
Girls Night Out
Join us on April 17th at Azul in Leetsdalefor an evening of fun and meeting new
friends. Bring a friend or two! Starts at7pm.

Volunteers Needed
The OASIS youth after school program at the Sewickley Valley YMCA is looking for volunteers tohelp provide hearty healthy snacks for 15-20 students. Sign up for just one day, or become aregular volunteer! Volunteers will be reimbursed, but are asked to keep their food costs near
$25. Detailed guidelines will be provided, but you are free to add your own ideas!
