Sunday, September 10: Travel to Newport 7:00AM: Motorcoach will depart from Lancaster, AC Moore Store located at the Lancaster Shopping Center on the Oregon Pike/ Route 272 side of the store. 8:00AM: Motorcoach will depart from Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn, 2301 Paxton Church Rd; travel to Newport, RI with appropriate rest and meal stops en route. Early evening arrival in Newport, Rhode Island, America’s first resort and yachting capitol of the world. Check into our hotel, which is located in the heart of historic downtown on the harbor, for a relaxing three-night stay. We’ll receive a warm greeting from our local tour guide and take some time to relax and freshen up before we enjoy a delicious welcome dinner this evening. Monday, September 11: Block Island Following a delightful breakfast, we’ll board the ferry and cruise to famous Block Island. This island is 12 miles off the coast of Newport and has been herald as “one of the twelve best unspoiled areas in the Western Hemisphere” and is known for its relaxed way of life. Enjoy a guided tour with spectacular views of the rolling dunes, dazzling beaches and Victorian village. Step back in time to a bygone era and enjoy lunch at one of the Island’s grand hotels. Return to the mainland this afternoon with time to freshen up before gathering for dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Tuesday, September 12: Newport Tour, Two Newport Mansions & Tour of Historic SandwichAfter breakfast, depart for a tour along the magnificent Ten Mile Drive where we’ll step back in time to the opulent era of the Gilded age where elite families such as the Vanderbilt’s and Astor’s built their “summer cottages” to retreat from the city life. After our tour, we’ll visit one of the more well-known Mansions, followed by some free time along the waterfront for lunch and shopping. This afternoon, tour the grand dame of all the Mansions - The Breakers. This 70 room Italian and Renaissance-style villa was built by Cornelius Vanderbilt II. This afternoon, we’ll depart for Cape Cod, and enjoy touring through the charming village of Sandwich and then Hyannisport, with a picture stop at the John F Kennedy Memorial and the Korean War Memorial overlooking scenic Veterans Beach. Later, check into our hotel which is located directly on the beach overlooking the spectacular Nantucket Sound, for a relaxing three-night stay. We’ll receive a warm greeting along with a festive welcome reception! Take some time to relax and freshen up before enjoying dinner together. Wednesday, September 13: Nantucket IslandFollowing breakfast we’ll board the high speed ferry to the enchanting Island of Nantucket, fondly known as “The Gray Lady”. Once the whaling capitol of the world in the 1800’s, it has since evolved into a popular ‘hide away’ vacationing spot for the wealthy. Enjoy Nantucket’s charm with its cobblestone main street, narrow roads, simple Quaker-style homes and handsome houses dating back to the whaling days of the early 19th century. Enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful island with views of its sandy beaches, historic lighthouses, charming villages and coastal beauty. You will have some free time to venture through the many charming shops and galleries before returning by ferry back to the mainland. This evening enjoy a delightful dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Thursday, September 14: Chatham, Cape Cod National Seashore & Provincetown Whale WatchFollowing breakfast, we’ll depart with our tour guide for a fun-filled day touring the lower and outer Cape! Begin touring through the charming seaside village of Chatham with a picture stop at the Chatham Light. Continue on to the Cape Cod National Seashore for spectacular views off the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Continue on to Provincetown the tip of the Cape, and spend some time browsing around the downtown waterfront area with all its artistic and eclectic shops before embarking on an exciting Whale Watch Cruise! Be sure to have your cameras ready as we view these magnificent mammals frolic and feed in their ocean playground. Enjoy a traditional Lobster dinner at one of the Cape’s fine restaurants this evening. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Friday, September 15: Martha’s Vineyard Island After breakfast, we’ll board the ferry and cruise to the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard. Once an early refuge for coastal ship traffic, it blossomed into a whaling community in the 18th and 19th century and evolved to what is now a popular resort destination of today, where even U.S. President’s choose to vacation! Explore the diversity of its island towns, take a walk along the pristine shores, and step back in time to a more leisurely pace. Enjoy a guided tour of Oak Bluffs which is noted for its collection of small Carpenter Gothic cottages clustered in the Methodist Camp Meeting Grounds, and Edgartown, known for is stately Greek revival homes built by sea captains of years ago. Return to the mainland and enjoy a farewell dinner this evening. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Saturday, September 16: Depart for Central Pennsylvania This morning, enjoy breakfast before departing for Central Pennsylvania with appropriate rest and meal stops en route. (Breakfast)
