Stormdrain MarkingWith sixteen drainage basins in the county, and thousands ofstormdrains to mark, we need your help! The goal of this county-wideproject is to educate everyone that stormdrain systems carry not onlywater, but also anything else (excess nutrients, trash, and other waste)that runs off into the streets, and ends up in our lakes and rivers. Thisactivity is great for groups or individuals.
Road & Waterway Clean-UpsHelp protect wildlife, water quality, and beautify the community byjoining us for a roadway or waterway clean-up! These activities aregreat for a 1 day event; volunteers can spend a few hours collectinglitter and immediately see the fruits of their labor!
Invasive Species RemovalInvasive species are a serious threat to our waterways and naturalareas because they harm native plants and animals, and decreasewater quality. We work to remove them in order to protect ourprecious natural resources. Invasive species removal activities, usuallyalong shorelines or in the water, are great for group-tailored events!
