2 Station Works Progress

South Ramp:

Excavation work completed at Launching shaft 8780 Cum / 8780 Cum and work is in progress at

Cut & Cover portion 18328 Cum/26000 Cum (70% Completed). Base Slab PCC work at Cut and

Cover portion work is in progress 1391Sqm / 4155 Sqm (33% Completed).

TBM 1 (Up Line)

Backup Gantry lowering work is in progress.

Cradle lowering completed.

TBM 2 (Down Line)

Preparatory works for Eye seal erection work is in progress.

Dairy Circle Station:

Secant Pile Construction work is in progress 534 Nos completed out of 794 Nos (67% work

completed).

Road diversion work is in progress at east side.

Lakkasandra Station:

Secant Pile Construction work is in Progress 519 Nos / 794 Nos (65% completed).

Utility diversion work is in progress (78% completed).

Road diversion work is in progress at east side (52% completed).

Drain construction work is in progress 416 Rm / 468 Rm (90% completed).

Langford Station:

Secant Pile construction work is in progress 14 Nos/155 Nos (9%Completed).

900mm dia water pipe line shifting work is in progress.

Work area barricading/high fencing 75% completed.

Rashtriya Military School (Vellara Launching Shaft):

Temporary base slab casting completed 531 Sqm / 531 Sqm.

5th level strut and waler erection completed.

TBM 3 (Up Line):

Front, middle & tail shield erection completed. Backup Gantry lowering work completed.

Rashtriya Military School Station:

89.62% of the secant piles for station box and 100% of the piles for entry exit have been

completed. 17530.02 Cum (15.12%) of excavation for the station box has been completed.

13.14% of Base slab casting works are completed. 7.40% of Station wall casting from Base slab

to concourse completed.

M G Road Station:

Secant piles for station box are completed and 60.60% of the piles for entry exit have been

completed. 85784.33 Cum (88.27%) of excavation for the station has been completed. 13.09% of

Base slab casting works are completed.

Shivajinagar Station:

Secant piles for station box are completed and 47.25% of the piles for entry exit have been

completed. 121573.64 Cum (88.96%) Excavation works has been completed.

26.4% of Base slab works are completed. 9.58% of station wall casting from Base slab to

concourse is completed.

3 Tunnel Works Progress

TBM 1: AVNI -(Tunnel Boring Starts at Shivajinagar & Ends at Rashtriya Military School)

Total of 224 Permanent Rings erection completed.

Total of 29 Hyperbaric interventions completed and disc replaced.

Secondary grouting completed up to Ring 214.

TBM 2: LAVI-(Tunnel Boring Starts at Shivajinagar & Ends at Rashtriya Military School)

2 temporary rings erection completed.

Ready for Tunnelling.

of UG Stations (i.e. Cantonment & Pottery Town)

2 TBM Works Progress

Urja TBM (TBM No. 01):

North Bound Tunnelling from Cantonment Station to Shivajinagar commenced from 14.08.2020 and

completed so far 328 Rmt (219 Rings) out of 864 Rmt (576 rings).

Vindhya TBM (TBM No-2): South Bound Tunnelling from Cantonment Station & Shivajinagar

commenced from 01.10.2020 and completed so far 279 Rmt (186 Rings) out of 864 Rmt (576 rings).


Cantonment Station:

Hard Rock Excavation using Controlled blasting technique is in progress. 59.61% i.e. 96,572 Cum of

excavation is completed out of 1,62,000 Cum. 1948 Sqm (25.6%) of PCC has been carried out of the

total scope of 7,957 Sqm. Base Slab Concreting of 763 (9.6%) Sqm has been completed out of total

7957 Sqm.

Pottery Town Station:

Excavation for station box construction is in progress and 1,18,320 Cum (68.4%) of excavation

completed out of 1,72,889 Cum. Fabrication & Installation of 3rd & 4th layer struts and waler beams

are in progress. 361 Sqm. (25.6%) of PCC has been carried out of the total scope of 9362 Sqm.

4 Peenya Casting Yard Casting of 1011 Nos (31.16%) of Precast Tunnel Segments has been completed so far out of total

scope of 3244 Nos.

M/s ITD Cementation India Limited. 4.591 Kms, between South of Tannery Road Station to

North Ramp, 4 Nos of UG Stations (i.e. Tannery Road, Venkateshpura, Kadugondanahalli &

Nagawara)


Tannery Road Station:

Guide wall: 411 m out of 522 m is completed. Secant Pile: 513 nos. out of 742 nos are completed.

Venkateshpura Station:

Temporary Retaining wall: 401 m out of 520 m is completed. Excavation: 34,144 Cum out of

1,20,000 Cum is completed.

Kadugondanahalli Station:

Barricading Works: 650 m out of 770 m is completed. Guide Wall: 352 m out of 540 m is

completed. Secant Pile: 140 Nos out of 610 nos are completed.

Cut & Cover-1: Barricading Works: 400 m out of 643 m completed. Guide Wall construction work

commenced on 27.01.2021.

Nagawara Station: Barricading Works: 590 m out 610 m is completed.

3 Casting Yard Casting of Rings for Tunnel Lining: 485 nos out of 4834 nos is completed.
