CALENDAR
May you reject in its entirety the pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and embrace a life of complete helplessness and dependence on God and in great desperation be thrust into the kingdom of God.
May you reject the fleeting joys of life found in mindless self-absorbed entertainment.
May you experience the deepest and most tragic pain as one who is constantly given to love, love in the highest form, the raw kind of love as a father wails at the loss of his child, or a child mourns the loss of a mother.
May you look to the cross and genuinely utter the words, "What have I done?" Having poured yourself out and in complete despair may you find the enduring comfort of God.
May you burn and be consumed with anger
A SENIOR BLESSINGInspired by Jesus' Beatitudes
as you seek justice for those mistreated. And may there be no fire left to warm any thoughts of revenge for wrongs done to you.
May you despise the freedom that many use to pursue comfort and may your every passion be directed by God.
May you agonize in your hunger to be good, to be perfect, and may God fill you.
May you be so moved by the pain of others that you seek to ease it as though it were your own. And may God who knows your pain act on your behalf.
May you have vision unclouded by selfishness and may you see God.
May you do the very work of God in bringing peace in relationships.

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh;
rather, serve one another humbly in love. —Galatians 5:13
Freedom is one of our most ___________________ _____________________________.
As children of God, we’ve been freed from the guilt and penalty of _________ and from
a _______-oriented, __________-based system of righteousness.
Paul’s two-sided message to those who are free:

2. Don’t ____________ your freedom.
Failure to heed either part of the message will inevitably lead to __________________.
