As the Coronavirus is uponus, it's an unknown and

unsure as to what “normal”is or is going to be.

It's heartwarming at a timelike this when family and

friends come together to payrespect to one of our own.During this time of the loss

of our father, grandfather andgreat-grandfather, we arethankful for the support,

thoughts and prayers of allwho have been here for us.

Words cannot express theappreciation we feel for thosethat have shown compassionand concern in one way or

another, through cards,memorials, food, flowers,

kind words and visits.

After the family funeral, wewere elated at the impressive

memorial procession thatpassed the Veteran Memorialat the Fairmount Park, paying

respects in honoring Dad.This type of visitation turned

out to be more than wecould have ever expected.

One last time he was near theAmerican Legion Baseball

diamond where he spentcountless hours working,

watching games and “goingout for supper” at the

concession stand. All ofwhich he truly enjoyed.

Dad would have been broughtto tears at the sight of the

procession honoring him atthe memorial decorated with

flags and flowers.

A sincere, heartfelt thankyou from “Stuffy's”
