 FROM  THE  CUYAHOGA  VALLEY  

 GREAT  ISSUES  ON  THE  GREAT  LAKES    For  those  who  missed  Dartmouth  Hillel  Rabbi  Edward  Boraz  speak  on  “Project    Preservation”  last  April,  we  have  DVD  copies  of  the  students’  trip  to  Eastern  Europe  including  their  visit  to  Auschwitz   and   their   service   work   preserving   the   Jewish   cemeteries   of   this   region.   You’ll  remember  that  the  students  examine  the  question  of  how  the  policy  of  genocide  came  to  be  adopted   and   implemented   and   its   effect   on   a   particular   Jewish   shtetl,   or   town.   This   town  then  becomes  the  focus  of  their  restoration  project.  If  you’d  like  to  see  the  DVD,  as  they  say,  that  could  be  arranged.  Let  me  know,  mheller@fodorco.com.

         TURNING  THE  EMERALD  NECKLACE  DARTMOUTH  GREEN  –  SATURDAY  JULY  13th    

    We  continue  our  tour  of  the  Metroparks  with  a  stop  at  Mill  Stream  Run.  This  will  be  our                                         eleventh  hike,   leaving  us   six  Reservations   to   complete  our   tour  of   all   17.  Mill   Stream     Run           ambles   through  Berea,   Strongsville,  Middleburg  Heights,   and  North  Royalton   .     We’ll  send  a  reminder  later  in  the  month,  which  will  include  details  of  our  trailhead  and     time  to  meet.
