Class 5
We have been learning about preda-
tors and also our Stoneage ancestors.
In maths we have worked on multipli-
cation, time and shapes.
Class 5 visited the Yorkshire Wildlife
Park along with class 6 where we
learnt more about different types of
predators, including lions, tigers and
polar bears. We are now doing lots of
nice activities getting ready for Christ-
mas.
Class 7
In class 7 we have enjoyed learning
about mountain ranges around the
world. We have researched famous
mountaineers and written biog-
raphies about their lives.
Recently we have been learning
about the World War I Christmas
Truce. Throughout this topic we
have had fun using role play, acting
out parts of the story and writing
letters home from the trenches.
Mr Evans
Well what a busy Autumn term we’ve had. My highlights have to be the residential visit to Kingswood and the overwhelmingly positive an-nual reviews that have taken place this term.
Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 8th
December 2018.
Remember to sign up to class Do Jo if you haven’t done so already.
