Common Core Parent Nights

are Next Week!

In an effort to help inform our

parents with additional information in

regards to Common Core, as well as

provide strategies for you to better

help your child at home, we will host

Common Core Parent Nights next

week. The Common Core Parent

Nights are important for each grade

level, especially our testing grades

3rd-7th grade. Families in testing

grades, we will provide information

on how to help your child succeed

on the state test in May. Families

with scholars in non-testing grades,

we will provide information on how

to help your scholars succeed with

the Common Core standards. Flyers

were sent home on Monday.

Dates and times are located to

the left under Important Dates.

April

Common Core Parent Nights 5th grade: Monday, April 20th from 4:30-5:30

p.m.

3rd and 4th grade: Tuesday, April 21st from

4:30-5:30 p.m.

6th and 7th grade: Tuesday, April 21st from

5:15-6:15 p.m.

Kinder and 1st grade: Wednesday, April 22nd

from 2:15-3:15 p.m.

2nd grade: Wednesday, April 22nd from

3:15-4:15 p.m.

April 20th-24th

Staff Appreciation Week

May 4th May 22nd SMARTER BALANCED TESTING: Grades 3-7.

Exact schedule TBD

(NOTE: 5th Grade Science CST & CAPA will

be held during these dates as well)

May 4th-May 8th

Teacher Appreciation Week

H.B.C.P is Still Enrolling for the 2015-2016 School Year!!

We are now enrolling for the 2015-2016 school year! We are enrolling scholars in grades K-8. If you know someone, send

them our way. Anyone interested can go to the front office and see our school

Secretary Ms. Becerra for more information. If you refer someone, you

will receive a FREE Hardy Brown College Prep shirt upon complete

enrollment.

Carrusel Uniforms will be on campus on

Thursday, April 16th from

8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Hardy Bucks Store

This school year we implemented a

positive reward system for

P.E./yoga/lunchtime. During these

times, if any of our scholars are

showing their scholarly behavior,

they will receive Hardy Bucks.

When our Hardy Bucks store is

open, scholars are allowed to use

their Hardy Bucks to purchase

items. See pictures to the right.

Trimester 2 Perfect Attendance Assemblies Last Friday, H.B.C.P hosted the Perfect Attendance Assemblies for Trimester 2. We had 89 scholars receive a Perfect Attendance award and ribbon for perfect attendance in Trimester 2. Below are a few pictures of some of our

scholars who received this award.
