Exciting new developments in the work in Zambia, first group of women concludes project and football tournament reaching 500+ playersTRANSCRIPT
Exciting new development by Samuel Pedersen and Peder Tind
and held discipleship classes.
It is evident to us that there is
much work to be done, and
we call on all of you, the cur-
rent partners of School Mis-
sion to continue supporting
this great work. No task or
mission can succeed in our
individual strength, but we
need each other and mostly
we need the strength and
wisdom that comes from God.
So join in and dream with us.
We want to thank John Peder-
sen, the founder and director
of School Mission for 25
years, and member of Dream
Factory board.
(connues on page 4)
The board and the staff at
Dream Factory Zambia are all
full of faith and overwhelmed
by God and the many break-
throughs he provides repeat-
edly. At the same time, it is a
very humbling experience to
accept the task of carrying on
the vision and objectives of
School Mission. School Mis-
sion has operated in Zambia
for 27 years as an independ-
ent organization, and through
their great work they have
educated, helped, and chal-
lenged thousands of students
and teachers. The leadership
in School Mission approached
Dream Factory some months
ago with a wish for Dream
Factory to carry on the organ-
ization and its objectives.
Through a short process of
prayers, and meetings we all
felt the clear guidance to go
ahead. The former leadership
in School Mission and the
leadership in Dream Factory
have a joined heart, and we
all believe for a great future.
As School Mission now falls
under the Dream Factory Min-
istries Department, it is our
prayer that in time the mis-
sion work in schools by God’s
grace will be established in
all ten provinces of Zambia
and will even reach outside
the borders of
Zambia.

and was made possible by Dream Factory
through the micro loan and business les-
sons. She finally thanked Dream Factory
Zambia and asked God to bless the pe-
ople involved in contributing to her suc-
cess.
Christina Tambatamba Christina is another beneficiary from Buy-
antanshi Women Empowerment Program.
Christine testifies that her life has been
totally changed for the better.
She narrated that after she joined Buy-
antanshi her faith had increased. The
program has brought about good fruit,
removing her from what she called
'stagnant life' to a wonderful and fruitful
life.
She mentioned that she had always wan-
ted to sell fresh fish but had challenges of
where to get starting capital and had no
freezer in which to stock the fish.
Upon joining this group, Dream Factory
came to her rescue of which she testified
that not only has she managed to get a
freezer for her fresh fish, but she has also
managed to buy a sewing machine.
She says she is now immensely blessed!
At a time when other women could have
thought that the micro loans were too
small, it was manna from heaven for Chri-
stine because of the faith she had in gro-
wing it! She thanked Dream Factory and
blessed all the people connected to this
work.
“Buyantanshi Womens Empowerment”
had graduation on 15th November 2013.
Here follows some testimonies of the
women.
Mary Machiko Mary was among the group of Women
Empowerment by Dream Factory in 2013.
During the graduation, she shared that it
had been her great need and desire to
receive the education in Basic Business
Management. She quoted from
the Bible and spoke about Psalm
33: 11, "But the plans of the Lord
stand firm forever, the purposes
of His heart through all genera-
tions’’. She proudly pronounced
to her fellow women that by car-
rying out her business in a right
manner, she had been able to
save some money that had enab-
led her to build her own house.
Mary testified, pre-
sented how she
conducts her busi-
ness through a role-play,
and further mentioned
that her life was so different
now. She no longer rents a
house and the money she is
making out of her business
is now channeled to impro-
ving her family's living stan-
dards, including paying for
her children's school fees.
Her dream of owning a
house has finally come true

tended. Mikael and
Nadia, volunteers from
Denmark, together
with Mortson and Pe-
der, and indeed in full
support of Dream Fac-
tory staff, Griselia and
Stanley, were ecstatic
about what was happe-
ning. When time for
presentations came,
each team had its sha-
re, including jerseys,
soccer balls, drinking
bottles, t-shirts, indivi-
dual medals and to
climax it all, dream cups! What a
scene to see teams celebrating in
song, dancing and chanting themes of
victory!
Another successful day! Another success-
ful project! Another successful underta-
king in the right direction! One would
peg and brand this event in so many
ways. Ultimately, Dream Factory Zambia
sums it up in its motto: If you can dream it,
you can do it!
Three years ago when Simon Linde and
the team initiated the Dream Cup con-
cept, little was known of its potential. A
little walk in the fog and we can now see
another distance that comes into view: a
distance that only you and me have made
possible to see; a distance where so ma-
ny teams interact and send synergy
among themselves, a distance where all
are champions because they are made to
realize their individual potential
Now we are looking forward to the
coming year, 2014, with renewed hope,
vigor and excitement, having learnt from
the past what we ought to improve and
implement in the future. It has brought us
great joy to see so many young people
smiling because Dream Factory touches
their lives, give them hope, purpose, and
brings freedom to grow! It touches our
hearts and we know, it touches yours too,
because you care. Thank you for your
contribution.
What if you could experience sports en-
tertainment, talent, fun, sports talent or
mere sheer shock in one day! That would
be made possible by attending the
Dream Cup Tournament of Adopt-a-Club.
This year it was held right in Masala com-
pound that holds some of the teams adop-
ted by our project. It marked the third
annual Dream Cup Tournament attended
by both local and outside teams. Repre-
sented during the tournament were
KashimotoAcademy and White Stars from
Mufulira, Superade Academy, Moto Fire,
Nkwazi FC, Dawn Power, Lubuto Gunners
and Isubilo from Ndola. For the first time
ever, girls' football teams from Superade,
Isubilo and Nkwazi were featured and it
added to the beauty and excitement of
the day. Talk about variety!
It was such a thrill to see the radiance of
contentment and excitement as all teams
got geared to play their 30 minutes'
game, dressed immaculately in attire that
gave each team such great hope of win-
ning.
At the end of it all, one would think there
was a team that found itself downcast
because it had lost a game. But no! There
were presents to cheer all teams that at-

We also want to thank John and Priya Buz-

Mission for the last 2 years. They have
worked hard to navigate School Mission
through a tough season to where we are
today. We are honoured to be given the
School Mission organization. With this
new development, Dream Factory has
also received the former School Mission

In many ways it has been very easy to draw
conclusions for 2013. It has been a great year in
Dream Factory with so many breakthroughs,
programs completed with a high success rate, and
so many peopled helped. Dream Factory is now an
established and strong organiza+on with such a
great poten+al to help many more people in the
future. On the founda+on of 2013 we stand ready
to welcome a new year with all its new programs,
ac+vi+es, and challenges.
