RELIEVING PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
VISITING PERFORMANCE
Our first visiting performance for 2014 will be
tomorrow. ‘My Friends and I’ explores the effects of
bullying on the victim as well as offering strategies
to deal with bullies and is has been selected to
support our school’s welfare and anti-bullying
programs. Thank you to all families who have paid
for this performance. If you have not paid as yet,
please send in $4.40 with your child tomorrow to
ensure they do not miss out on this quality show.
CHANGE TO BUS ROUTE
Busabout have informed us that due to the closure
of Lakeside Drive for repairs over the next 3
months that any students who live in Lakeside
Drive or Norfolk Ave will have to be dropped and
picked up from Lansdowne Ave near the corner of
Norfolk until the road is re-opened.
CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY
Our students and staff did their bit to keep our
community clean with a clean up of the school and
surrounding areas last Friday. Many large bags of
rubbish were collected and we should all be
appreciative of their time and efforts to keep our
local surrounds beautiful. Thank you also to Miss
Nye for coordinating this event at Wagga Wagga
Public School.
SCHOOL PHOTOS
Next Tuesday, 11th March is photo day at Wagga
Wagga Public. Payment envelopes have been sent
home and need to be returned to school on or
before this date. If you require a family photo for
your children, envelopes can be collected from the
school office. Even if payments are made on line,
you will need to record the receipt number on the
envelope and return it to the school.
We ask that all students come to school in their full
summer uniform:
GIRLS: summer dress, white socks, black shoes,
blue hair adornments. Girls who do not own a
school tunic should wear their navy shorts/skirt and
school t-shirt.
BOYS: navy shorts, school t-shirt, navy socks,
black shoes.
YEAR 7 – 2015 FORMS
All Year 6 students have received their
Expression of Interest forms for Year 7 next
year. Could parents please complete, sign and
return these to the school office no later than
this Friday 7th March. This form needs to be
returned for all students even if they will
not be attending a designated public High
School.

We seem to have reached a lull in payments but
please be reminded that school contributions
are now due, please contribute so that the
school can purchase much needed resources to
run programs for our students. Thank you to
those families who have already paid.
