Principal’s Message

The glittering success of the Modernites is a testimony to the fact that the students are doing ordinary things extraordinary well. The school is a lofty social institution committed to the service of the society. An interesting and enriching sessions of dramatics are being conducted by Julia Gabriel Center for the tiny tots to unleash creativity, build confidence and express themselves at their best.

Mothers’ Day

Modernites witnessed an array of activites that were exclusively held for the toddlers’ mothers on 3 May 2013. The celebrations were consumated with lots of appreciation and blessings. Madam Principal addressed the gathering and apprised the audience with the new innovative ways to handle the tiny tots.

National Anthem Day

National Anthem Day was celebrated on 14 May 2013 by a melodious and pious rendition of National Anthem by the Modernites. The whole ambience was brimmed with patriotic fervor.

Dr. V.K. Batra , a renowned physician facilitated the Modernites by apprising them with various health measures to earn a healthy life style. He also focussed on the ill effects of junk food and negligence that students do in their day to day lives.

Giving a face lift to the career

Mrs. Mena Mittle and Mrs. Vasudha Sarang attended the annual conference organised by Forum of Public Schools on Education : Ethics, Arts, Skills. Changing the Landscape on 20 April 2013 at India International Centre, Lodhi Road.

Ms. Sapna Mingalani and Ms. Sarika Grover attended a workshop on Multiple Intelligence by Ms. Margaret Warner on 4 May 2013.It focussed on various hi-tec ways to acquire knowledge and thus making a teaching learning experience more interactive.

Giving a face lift to the career

Ms. Meena Seth and Ms. Neetu Luthra attended a workshop on ’Outstanding Practices’ on 9 April 2013 at Bal Bharati Public School, Rohini. Gareth Baterip was the resource person to provide high quality training to improve the education standards.

Ms. Jyoti Kapoor and Ms. Sarika Parashar attended CBSE training programme at Mount Abu Public School Rohini for capacity building of teachers on life skills, attitudes, values, health and well being education. Dr. Neera Chopra and Dr. Jayanti Bannerji were the resource persons.

Teachers’ Workshop

For spiritual healing and to train the teachers to find blissfulness in souls, a workshop was organized on 29

May 2013 by the Brahmakumaris. The resource persons Ms. Lata and Ms. Pooja were the torch-bearers and apprised the teachers to follow the healthy lifestyle patterns.

Our athletic team comprising of Sumita, Akshay Bansal, Arpit Pannu, Ashish Gupta , Swati SinghalManveen Kaur, Divyajyoti Malhotra bagged the First position and won the scholarship at Inter Zonal Athletic Meet and Delhi State Athletic Meet.

Workshop on Cyber LawsWorkshop on Cyber Laws

To sensitize the students regarding various social networking sites , a workshop was conducted on Cyber Laws by an eminent lawyer of Hon. Supreme Court, Mr. Pawan Duggal. It was an eye opener for the youth and helped the students to unfold the cautions while working on such sites.

Career CounselingTo pave the right way to the students , career counselling session was arranged for the students of Class XII. It helped the students in selecting the appropriate stream from the array of wider choices available nowadays. They were also apprised with various career opportunities to make their future glorious.
