During the morning hours of Satur-day the 23rd of July, Vall d’Or Golf celebrated for the third time in round the “Trofeo Vall d’Or Golf”, on its premises.

The championship was played un-der the diverting modality “Four Ball Best Ball – Couples Best Ball”, shotgun at 9:30 am and awards for the 6 first classified teams and the Scratch winning team. The winners of the longest drive and the nearest to the pin (gents and ladies) were also rewarded. The 76 participants enjoyed a course in absolutely exceptional conditions and the fantastic service which was rendered all the time by the organizing party of the tourna-ment.

Right after the competition the participants and their compan-ions enjoyed a exquisite buffet on the terrace of the restaurant mÁxime, leading onto the awards ceremony, directed by the Manag-

ing Director of Vall d’Or Golf, Mr. Israel Rodríguez Rojas. The atmos-phere throughout was of great cor-diality.

The raffle which took place after the awards ceremony, was thor-oughly enjoyed by everyone, and brought about a few good laughs.

Last Saturday, the 6th of August, the eagerly awaited Port Petit competition was held here in the installations of Vall d'Or Golf, un-der the Stableford Single modality, with two categories for ladies and two for men. In total 75 players

participated in the tournament.

Mr. Gérard Deymier and his wife, Mrs. Loulou Deymier, who have continuously during the last 20 years celebrated their tournament here at Vall D'or, once again the

couple radiated charm and a good sense of humour during the tourna-ment and prize giving ceremony.

Restaurant Port Petit, offered all players a magnificent buffet fol-lowed by a fantastic raffle with wonderful prizes. Once again Mr. Gérard Deymier promised all play-ers a new edition for the following year 2012.

On the 3rd of August the last Wednesday golf tournament 20010/2011 was held, under the Stableford Individual modality. First classified was Mrs. Michae-la Lange with 37 Pts.; followed by Mrs. Jutta Herchenbach with 35 Pts. In the Gents category, Mr. Jochen Herchenbach was the winner of the day with 40 Pts.; followed by Mr. Marco Etter with 38 Pts. In the Ladies the final winner was Mrs. Katja Maier with a total of 173 Pts.; followed by Mrs. Michaela Lange with 170 Pts. In the gents category, this years winner was Mr. Eric Gu-

lliksen with 171 Pts; followed by Mr. Christian Lindgens with 170 Pts.
