FROM THE PRINCIPAL Welcome back to school, it’s great to see the children keen and ready to learn after the break. KIRSTY DINGLEY Our thoughts go out to Alan Dingley and daughters Georgie and Sam after the sudden passing of their mother Kirsty yesterday. Kirsty will be sadly missed.

SCHOOL CARPARK - SAFETY Please use the school gate and pathway rather than the carpark entries, when bringing children into school in the mornings. Staff cars, school taxis and service vehicles regularly come and go into our two carparks. This is a Health and Safety issue, therefore we ask you to please use the school path entry or the gates into the school, thank you.

TE MANAWA STAR LAB VISIT TO SCHOOL Te Manawa Star Lab is visiting school on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th May. All children will have the opportunity to visit the Lab and learn about space. The PTA are subsidising the cost of this visit and parents are asked to pay $1.00 towards the cost for each of their children. This money is payable to the office and must be paid by Friday 12th May. Thank you to the PTA for your support, without this subsidy the cost to parents would be higher.

Thank you to parents that volunteered to coach the teams. We still require a coach/ manager for West End Terriers and West End Sharks Flipperball team. I will be cancelling these teams if we are unable to have a coach for them by Friday. We still require at least 2 players for both year 3-4 hockey teams, year 1-2 hockey teams and year 3-4 basketball team.
