Venue for Saturday 20 October 2018The Saturday proceedings and the evening dinner of the 12th FJC Rogers Seminar, will be held at the Holy Trinity Lutheran College, 25 Trinity Drive, Horsham.

The hall seats up to 600 people for the day proceedings and 400 for the evening dinner. It has full disability access to all areas.

Immediately outside the hall is a large courtyard suitable for having lunches and teas. Part of the courtyard is covered and this is where the plant sales will take place.

There will be ample parking close by in designated car parks, street parking and weather permitting, on the sports oval. All parking is free.

Registration forms will be available in the March issue of Australian Plants Society Vic “Growing Australian” or from late March they will be available online to download from the FJC Rogers Seminar 2018 website: • https://apsvic.org.au/fjc-rogers-seminar/ or• Email: [email protected]

Registration forms will also be emailed out with the April newsletter.

Types of RegistrationParticipants will be able to register for any of the three or all components listed below:

Saturday Seminar Proceedings: includes presentations, teas/lunch and series of Photo-guides of Goodeniaceae on a USB memory stick.

Saturday Dinner: includes evening meal, tea and coffee. BYO drinks. After Dinner Speaker.

Sunday Garden Visits by coach: includes coach tour to all gardens, teas and lunch.

Registrations will not be accepted until full payment is received. All details and costings will be on the registration forms.

Australian Plants Society Grampians Inc. and Wimmera Growers of Australian Plants Inc are propagating as many species of Goodeniaceae as possible with the aim of greatly increasing the range in people’s gardens. These plants, which will be very reasonably priced, will be available for sale at the 12th FJC Rogers Seminar on Goodeniaceae.

However, we are still seeking many more species. It would be greatly appreciated, if you can provide us with

We are seeking photographs for the production of a series of photo-guides of Goodeniaceae.

We are particularly looking for species of Goodeniaceae from your local area. Those species, which are growing in your garden will be acceptable also. All photos must state where they have been taken. We need to identify whether they are growing in their natural habitat, or in cultivation.

Requirements for photos for the FJC Rogers Seminar 2018 photo-guides1. Must be originals and not cropped 2. Highest resolution possible 3. High quality - in focus and good depth of field 4. Showing features of the plant useful for identification,

eg flowers, leaves, stems and/or shrub (may be several photos of the same plant)

5. All photos must be correctly named ie Genus and species

6. All photos must have the photographers name and where taken.

7. Photos taken in their natural habitat would be preferred 8. Photos will only be used for the 12th FJC Rogers

Seminar 2018 - Goodeniaceae 9. Not all photos will be used due to duplication of species.

Only those that best fit the criteria will be chosen 10. No photos will be passed onto any other person or

organisation without the photographers permission 11. All photographers will be duly acknowledged
