This past April 20-27 was a powerful and spiritually rich time, for which we praise our heavenly Father! These retreats are growing in attendance, which is a delight to see. There were about 80 people at the Passover service this time.

The Passover service was very lovely, filled with delicious food, the powerful Seder message, singing, a foot-washing service and special music. For many, this was their first Passover experience. Several of you who have asked if this year’s Passover service would be available on DVD – we are thrilled to be able to say that it is! Elder Steve Wallace shared a powerful 8-part series on the importance of becoming unleavened from sin and spiritually leavened with the leaven of heaven. It was truly a soul-searching series.

Elder Mark Maccarone shared practical and spiritual insights into preparing for the last days. This timely series even included information about how to make a Mittleider garden along with a tour of a Mittleider garden near Coos Bay.

Shauna Manfredine gave a prophecy series showing the three fulfillments of Daniel’s 70 Week Prophecy. This is a call to come out of Babylon on an even deeper level. Due to time-constraints, the last three talks in this 8-part

But the good news is that we were able to complete and film the 70 Weeks series on our Canada ministry tour. So, we are happy to announce that this series is now available in totality.Danette Davis shared a powerful 5-part series on the Alpha and Omega Apostasy, Mark Manfredine shared a talk about Truth and two talks on the annual Sabbaths, Lou Davis shared an important look at the importance of returning to primitive godliness, and three of our young teens provided powerful and hard-hitting talks on creation, “Christian” rock and the pagan origins of Christmas. In addition to these spiritually rich meetings, we also enjoyed a variety of workshops and tours. Cindy Hernandez not only prepared delicious vegan (and organic) meals for us throughout the retreat, but she also blessed us with a very well-executed and informative vegan cooking school. Gerald Latal provided a wonderful essential oils workshop throughout the week that included not only information about the healing uses of essential oils, but also demonstrated some massage techniques. The Heavenly Father had perfectly orchestrated this wonderful time so that we enjoyed a blessed blend which included powerful and timely spiritual teachings, valuable health workshops, enjoyable tours, and delicious vegan meals. Each of these blessings worked together to create a very memorable feast.

Three days after the Unleavened Bread retreat concluded, we packed up and headed to British Columbia to respond to a couple of requests for meetings. The first stop was Bella Coola, British Columbia. The brethren there put us up in a very lovely retreat, where we stayed from May 2 through May 10. On the first Sabbath (May 3), we gave the 11:00 hour service on Keys to Living Like You’ve Been Saved. We finished the series at a 2:00 PM meeting following potluck. Each person attending the church service received a Keys to Living Like You’ve Been Saved booklet.

Just prior to our arrival, the Adventist church in Bella Coola had been caught up in controversy over the holy days of YHWH. But, both feast keepers and non-feast keepers attended the meetings. Shauna shared the 8-part 70 Weeks Prophecy of Daniel (which includes information about the annual Sabbaths). The group in Bella Coola were very interested in the information and materials. By the end of our week there, we had nearly “sold” out of the materials we had brought and were thrilled at the deep interest the group showed in studying the Word of God. We simply exhorted them to “prove all things and hold fast to that which is

Retreat guests enjoyed a spiritually powerful tour of the wilderness Sanctuary. It included dressing up and discovering the beauty of Christ in the wilderness Sanctuary practices and furniture. Our tour guide was Shirley Thrush.

Kaytie Hernandez (age 14) was one of three teenagers to share with us at the retreat. Kaytie shared a powerful talk titled: Unwrapping the True Spirit of Christmas.

We were able to film the last three parts of this series here, as these talks had been omitted at the Spring Retreat. This was a tremendous blessing.Throughout the week of our stay in Bella Coola, we were either involved in ministry or in some much needed family-relax-and-enjoy-God’s-second-book time. One day, some of those attending the meetings, took us out on a hike to see some petro glyphs. We had a lovely time. The Adventist church in Bella Coola had been the center of some contro- versy over the holy days of YHWH. But, many who believed in keeping the feasts attended the meet- ings along with many who didn’t believe in the an- nual Sabbaths. Shauna shared the 8-part 70 Weeks Prophecy of Daniel. We were able to film the last three parts of this series here, as these talks had been omitted at the Spring Retreat. This was a tremendous blessing. After we left Bella Coola, we drove east to Kelowna (located on the opposite side of B.C.). We were only able to remain in Kelowna for two nights. This posed a challenge for what to share with them. Originally they had asked us to share the 70 Weeks study. But this is an 8-part series. After much prayer, we believed we should share the Keys to Living Like You’ve Been Saved series on the first night and Unmasking Modern Sorcery the second night. Naturally, we passed out the Keys booklet to everyone attending these meetings also. There were about 20 people at these meetings. During our stay in Kelowna, we were asked to hold a total of seven prayer and anointing sessions. These sessions took place during the days and the meetings took place each night. It was powerful to see what YHWH was up to in this divine appointment! One gentleman had a very serious heart condition. He had spent several days in the Kelowna hospital only to be told that the doctors weren’t sure what was wrong and would be releasing him with a series of medications. He asked for a prayer and anointing session desiring YHWH’s will be done in his life. During the prayer session, the gentleman later told us, “something in my chest moved over. I could immediately breathe.” The next morning the man’s wife called us to praise

Prior to the prayer and anointing, this gentleman’s heart condition had been so bad that he felt exhausted after showering and found it too taxing to shower and shave and eat breakfast without breaks. When he was discharged from the hospital, his condition had worsened from when he went in. Knowing how grave his condition was made the glory to God all the greater in that it was the Master Physician who healed this man.Another miracle took place in the life of a lady. She had been living with a variety of known sins in her life. After the first night’s meetings, she was convicted that she needed to be cleansed and to get her life back on track with God. During the prayer and anointing session, she laid down all of her “old man of sin” at the Cross and was made a new creature by the power of Christ. She went home feeling free and clean and committed to living a new life of victory. Her life, praise YHWH, was dramatically changed.Still another lady found it a struggle to even attend the meetings. Not normally one to get headaches, she was plagued by migraines when she tried to read the Keys to Living Like You’ve Been Saved booklet or when she drove to attend the evening meetings. Recognizing these headaches, heart-palpitations and nausea for a spiritual attack, this dear lady refused to give in to the devil. Sometimes, in order to keep from becoming too sick to drive, the lady would sing Power in the Blood as she drove to the meetings. She also asked for a prayer and anointing. Not only did she feel peace and freedom, recognizing that YHWH had set her free, but also her physical symptoms were completely removed.A few days after her anointing, she had the privilege of participating in anointing her husband, as this wonderful work of the Holy Spirit continues in the lives of the dear folks in Kelowna. Another miracle of YHWH was how He handled the financial needs of this ministry, which were fairly great in the months of April and early May! Just three weeks prior to the Unleavened Bread Retreat we had published the booklet Keys to Living Like You’ve Been Saved. This cost several thousand dollars. The retreat also cost several thousand dollars. In addition, this trip to Canada came on the heels of these other expenses. But, we laid it all before the Heavenly Father. And by the end of the retreat, the expenses for the book publishing were paid for along with the entire retreat cost. This was over $8,000! In addition, and all glory to our great God, the donations which were generously given during the Canada trip paid for the trip costs entirely. So many miracles! Our hearts are full of praise! Finally, now that we are home again, e-mails have started coming in from the dear folks we met with in Canada. One lady wrote, “Praise YHWH!!  Ever since your ministry to us in Kelowna, YHWH has raised my life to a new level and I am so thankful… I am slowly but surely working my way through Keys to Living Like You’ve Been Saved and it is such a blessing.   YHWH is teaching me day by day how to submit my life to Him and to resist the devil. Hallelujah!” We are thrilled to see the powerful work YHWH

Meetings, singing and prayer sessions will be held throughout the day on both days. A potluck lunch will be served on both days. All are welcomed! Please RSVP if you plan to attend – (541) 672-1514.

For those of us who believe in a revival of primitive godliness and look forward to the Latter Rain, the final fulfillment of Pentecost is an event most eagerly awaited. Each year, as we keep Pentecost, we search our souls and pray that this one may be the year when the Heavenly Fire will again fall, enabling us to carry the final Gospel call to the world with great power.

But, while the fulfillment of Pentecost in an event feast keepers all anxiously await, determining which day Pentecost is to be kept remains a matter of some debate. In fact, among annual Sabbatarians, one of the most controversial subjects is determining the timing of Pentecost. As Pentecost is determined from the day of First Fruits, the real confusion in timing Pentecost is calculating when First Fruits takes place. Some believe that First Fruits falls on the

16th of Abib (the day after the first annual Sabbath of Unleavened Bread). Others believe that First Fruits falls on the Sunday that takes place in the Week of Unleavened Bread.

With Pentecost coming upon us quite quickly, it seems a timely opportunity to add some food for thought to this Pentecostal timing issue.

Leviticus 23:10-11 tells us very specifically when Wave Sheaf, or the day of First Fruits is to take place. “…Ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: and he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD… on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.”

The term, “the morrow after the Sabbath” has seemed confusing because annual Sabbatarians keep two kinds of Sabbaths. There are Seventh-day Sabbaths and annual Sabbaths. Thus, for some, the “morrow” after the first annual Sabbath of Unleavened Bread is used- making First Fruits fall on Abib 16 (two days after Passover). Others calculate the “morrow” after the Sabbath to be the first day of the week (the day after the Seventh-day Sabbath).

But, is there any way to know for sure which is biblically correct? Actually there is! The word “Sabbath” in Hebrew is different when it means Seventh-day Sabbath or when it means annual Sabbath. The word for an annual Sabbath is Strong’s Concordance number 7677, while the word for the Seventh-day Sabbath is Strong’s Concordance number 7676.

In Leviticus 23, we must look at a term for Sabbath that everyone knows is an annual Sabbath term. Consider Leviticus 23:24. Here it refers to the Feast of Trumpets as a Sabbath. We know this is an annual Sabbath. The original Hebrew word for an annual Sabbath (as used in this verse) is shabbathown, meaning “a sabbatism or special holiday.”

The original Hebrew word for the Seventh-day Sabbath (which is the word found in Leviticus 23:10-11) is shabbath, meaning “the Sabbath, (weekly) intermission or rest.” In Exodus 20:8-11 we find that the word referring to the Seventh-day Sabbath is (7676) shabbath.
