METRO• Cost- £2,536

• Size- 10x2

• I chose this size because it’s big enough to fit in all the information needed to inform and captivate the reader.

• This newspaper would also be good for my documentary because a lot of people pick it up as its free newspaper.

• It’s given out in undergrounds so a different variety of people will pick up the newspaper.

THE GUARDIAN• Cost- £5.00

• Size- ½ page= 14cm x 7 columns

• This is a good newspaper bought by many people however I would not choose it to advertise my documentary because it is not necessarily associated with my target audience.

• I also do not think that the younger age of my target audience will buy this newspaper as it is sold around £2.00 and wouldn’t pay this price for the topics the newspaper talks about.

KERRANG • Cost- £9,092

• This would be a good magazine to put my double page spread of my documentary on because Kerrang is about musicians who generally have tattoos which links to my documentary topic.

HEAT

• Cost- £43,470

• In Bauer media they state that the target audience of this magazine is women 16-35 years of age which is my documentary’s target audience so it would make sense to put my double page spread in a magazine that they buy.
