AN EPIC WORD OF THANKS
Thank you to ALL of those who were a part of the “EPIC” Christmas Worship series, including our stellar Cast, amazing Soloists, Choirs (children, youth, & adults) & Ensembles (Cornerstone Quar-tet, Hand Mime Team, Orchestra, Worship Band)! A special word of thanks to the brilliant “behind the scenes” crew: Paula Horton (script co-writer, costumes, research), Camilla Latham (Drama Director), Becky Turner (Drama Assistant), Dawn Murphy (Hand Mime Team Director), Tad Card-well (Technical Director/Sound), Robert Mann, Jeff Patrignani (Sound), Frank Cardwell (Lights), Anna Brown, Andy Bunch, Rick Adkins (Computer techs), Heather Rigby (Costumes), Trish Bailey, Megan Malecha, Mollie Rerucha (Sanctuary/FLC decorations). I am so honored to have the privi-lege to work with such talented and dedicated people! We as a church community are blessed beyond measure. To God be the glory!
- Duane DeHart
The Christmas season was truly “EPIC”! Thanks to all the youth who participated in the drama, the choirs, the Hand Mimes, the Pageant and helped with the children during all the services! I look for-ward to the spring for Part 2 of EPIC! This year we will be taking a new approach to the organization aspect of our youth ministry. We have identified 6 different areas of ministry that impact our youth and created a Team of adults for each ministry area. These include a Dinner Team, a Communica-tion Team, a Mosaic Team, a Major Events Team, a Care Team and a Parent Ministry Team. All of these teams are being lead by a Point Person and they are tasked with recruiting parents and other adults in our church to serve on their team. This new approach is intended to help us to more faithfully and intentional-ly carry out our purpose statement: “The Ferry Farm Student Ministry exists to create a safe place where students grow in faith, connect in relationships and learn to serve others.” Would you pray about where you might be able to serve, just in case you get an invite from our team leaders? The teams will begin to meet in January and will bring a new momentum to our youth minis-try. Thanks for your prayers and your willingness to impact our students as they navigate adolescence! Blessings, Rob

Most of all I humbly thank you for your thoughts and prayers! They gave me the strength I needed each day. They continue to make a huge difference in my recovery from knee surgery. God bless you special family for being there for me! With much love in Christ, Almeda Clements I would like to thank my church family for the many kind expressions shown me before, during and after my knee replacement surgery.
