WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR APPOINTMENT OF RETIRED TEACHERS ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS

A Walk-in-Interview will be held at 10 AM on 24-9-2015 (Thursday) in this Institute for appointment of

Retired Teachers against 3 Posts of Professor/Associate Professor in the Subjects of Kaumar Baritya,

Shalakya Tantra and Kayachikitsa purely on Contractual basis. Only Retired Teachers interested may report

for the Walk-in-Interview along with detailed Bio-Data, the Original and Photocopies of all the relevant

documents at 9 AM on the same day.

Qualification and Experience Required for the Post of Professor:

1. PG Qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized by CCIM/Ayurved Vachaspati, M.D.(Ay.)

of University of Rajasthan in the concerned Subject.

2. 7 Years as Reader (Associate Professor) in PG Teaching in the concerned SubjectOR 12 Years combined

experience in PG Teaching in the Subject concerned (as Reader/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor)

and Research.

Desirable: 1. Ph.D. in Ayurveda/Extensive Experience in Research2. Working knowledge in Hindi and English.

Remuneration: Consolidated Remuneration of Rs.55,000 Per Month.

Qualification and Experience Requried for the Post of Associate Professor:

1. PG Qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized by CCIM/Ayurved Vachaspati, M.D.(Ay.)

of University of Rajasthan in the concerned Subject.

2. 5 Years as Sr. Lecturer or Assistant Professor in PG Teaching in the concerned Subject OR 10 Years

combined experience in PG Teaching in the Subject concerned (as Assistant Professor/Lecturer) and

Research.

Desirable: 1. Ph.D. in Ayurveda/Extensive Experience in Research

2. Working knowledge in Hindi and English.

Remuneration: Consolidated Remuneration of Rs. 40,000 Per Month.

Important Information:

1. In case of non-availability of candidates with the Post-Graduate Qualificaiton in the Subject Concerned,

Candidates having Post-Graduate Degree in the Allied Subject as per IMCC Act will be considered for the

Posts of Professors and Associate Professors as these appointments are purely on Contractual basis.

2. In case of non-availability of candidates with the required expereince, candidates having experience as per

IMCC Act will be considered for the Posts of Professors and Associate Professors, as these appointments

are purely on Contractual basis.

3. The candidates found eligible shall be considered for the positions of Professor or Associate Professor and

may be selected for the post of Professor or Associate Professor as may be found suitable and required for

the Subjects concerned.4. The Maximum Age Limit is 65 Years.

5. The Monthly Consolidated Remuneration will not carry any kind of allowance.

6. This Contractual Appointment will be for 1 year or till regulalry selected candidates are available,

whichever is earlier.

7. Director, NIA reserves the right to reduce or increase the number of Posts and for selection or

non-selection to any category of the above Posts or of any candidate and to cancell or modify this

Notification without any intimation or assigning any reason thereof.

8. The selected candidates will have to join immediately after the walk-in-interview.

9. The persons taken on Contractual basis will have no right for any permanent/temporary employment in

NIA.

10.No TA or DA will be paid for attending the Interview or for joining the contractual appointment.
