NIAPS
• NKO @ Sea is provided to Sailors onboard ships and submarines as part of a product suite called Navy Career Tools that are delivered from the Navy Information/Application Product Suite (NIAPS) server. Since the learning content and applications are hosted aboard ships, Sailors are not required to have scarce Internet access while deployed to take on-line courses. Once a course is completed, the ship’s server periodically updates and synchronizes with the shore Electronic Training Jacket (ETJ).

• Faster Bandwidth than your regular internet.• It replicates the regular NKO via ship’s server.• Every time you submit a course it is recorded
later.• It is limited to Learning, Personal Development &
Leadership at this time.• CMS-ID (Career Management) is now only being
use by 2 Squadron NCs using the Beta-version. Do not use them until further notice.
