Indian Chemical Council is a Sec 25, Not for profit organization.

ICC is the apex national body successfully represents various sectors of the industry for over 70 years; petroleum refining and petrochemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, dyes, pharmaceuticals, paints, inorganic and organic chemicals, specialty chemicals and such.

Responsible Care® is a global, voluntary initiative developed autonomously by the chemical industry for the chemical industry. It runs in 52 countries whose combined chemical industries account for nearly 90% of global chemical production.

ICC is member of Responsible Care Leadership Group of International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) since 1994.

Step 3: Enrich

Chemical companies should

o mandate transportation only by GPS enabled trucks

o add manufacturing sites, warehouses & customers as geo fences

o create road safety profile(s); define, speed, drive & rest time, deviations etc.

o define precise transportation routes and assign safety profile(s) to each

o assign vehicles on trip along defined routes and review performance on CORSA

Transporters should

o add driver details; personal and professional details with evidences

o add vehicle details; insurance, permits, approvals with evidences

Emergency Services should add geo tagged services such as police, fire, hospital, ambulance, crane, tank cleaning facility, HazMat response team with accurate details

Professional Experts as level 2 and level 3 volunteer responders should register, mark their geo location and provide contact information details of expertise

Step 4: Optimize

Join mutual aid response network between participating stakeholders and add location based emergency response experts and resources within industry

Participate in industry’s efforts for training of driver crew, staff of logistic services providers, Hazmat response professional volunteers

Discuss and participate in journey risk assessments along major transportation corridors and share these centrally for benefit of all stakeholders

Coordinate and participate for third party assessments of logistic services providers, HazMat responders, vehicle parking & tank cleaning facilities and such assessments with findings shared online

Insist on higher safety expectations under Certificate of Road Safety today as CORSA - 1 and in future to CORSA 2, 3 and so on towards continual improvement

Nicer Globe® is a not for profit initiative for transportation safety & security standards and services. Profits are ploughed back to meet the objectives. Vehicle tracking requires paid subscription. System auto assigns license on trip creation & releases on trip completion. Licenses purchased by registered chemical companies can be assigned to trips of transporters with integrated GPS.
