Module Title: Applied Research Methods & Professional Development

Learning Outcomes: 1. Reflect upon and demonstrate an

understanding of Professional Issues covered in the module and carry out Independent Research to produce a Portfolio Report.

2. Create and present a Project Proposal with an appropriate project plan, giving reasons for choice, method, etc.

Assessments: 100% incourse assignment

3. Understand & apply Time Management & Goals Setting, Negotiation, Business Ethics.

2. YouTube video sharing/discussion on Time Management, Negotiation, Interview Skills, Ethics and Codes of Conducts, Business Ethics.4. Research on the internet for Code of Conducts.

1. Students to compile daily/weekly Learning Log with self-research on weekly topics.3. F2F tutorials:•Route map of 20 years from now• Negotiation through roleplay•Business ethics case studies

6. Evaluate research techniques, involvement, critical thinking.7. Assess students on understanding, apply, analysis, evaluate, create on Fact Findings, Project Management, Methodologies, Risk Management.

5. Understand & Apply Library Services

6. Searching Online Databases for Research Topics and discuss in Group Email/Forum/Facebook.7. Youtube video sharing/discussion on Fact Findings, Project Management, Methodologies, Risk Management.
