BEST BTRDA RALLY SERIES EVENT OF 2010 & 2012

Every year, the Nicky Grist Stages is designed to provide the very highest of standards in event delivery for all involved, whether competitor or spectator.

The focus is to continue to develop on what has been a successful and award winning rally, bringing all of the excitement and standards of the WRC rallies to the national scene. Each stage is designed to provide the competitor and spectators with the very best and safest competition possible, utilising some of the most challenging stages of Rally GB.

Once registration and scrutineering are completed, food and a bar are available in Rally HQ”, where Nicky and guest driver discuss the gravel notes giving drivers and co-drivers real-time information they need on the next day’s rally, including latest conditions. This is followed by a guest appearance with a Q&A session for all and gives competitors a rare opportunity to meet, network and chat about the sport they love so much, in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

On the day of the rally the Service Park will also include a marquee with beverages and food for corporate guests, media and families , featuring live iRally updates from each of the stages. In addition, the renowned commentator, Howard Davis, will be located on the Route 60 stage to give further commentary to spectators.

The Rally finshes with an awards ceremony at Rally HQ where food and drinks are also available to give all involved the opportunity to relax and share their rally experiences.

When it comes to the business of running a top class rally you will see a highly experienced and well oiled machine behind the scenes, which includes the delivery of pre-event publicity and news reports as well as event publications and media materials for competitors and corporate partners.

Quinton Motor Club are proud to announce that their Nicky Grist Stages has won the coveted Bill Turner Trophy for the second time in three years (2010 and 2012) when it was voted the best round in the REIS / Get Connected BTRDA Rally Series in 2012.

The 2013 rally will follow its proven format with Rally HQ at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells before moving out to the classic gravel rally stages of Crychan and Halfway Forests and the Epynt Ranges. These stages are renowned as being some of the best in the country as they are kept in prime condition for Wales Rally GB, but we get to use them first!

• Camping is permitted at the Showground, so with food available on Friday evening and breakfast on Saturday morning there are no accommodation worries.

• 44 stage miles with only 43 road miles.• Service or auxiliary service available after every stage.• Friday evening Route Note discussion with event sponsor Nicky Grist who will

have the latest information from the stages, Nicky and some of his friends will then stay on for a forum wheråe all things rallying are open for discussion.
