NCS Single Window Environment outlook● Adoption of International

Standards appropriate to Nigeria trade environment

● A new legal framework will be developed to improve efficiency and effectiveness

● Government polcy will be set by Ministries. Administrative policy will be the responsibility of NCS organization

● Relationship with OGAs will be determined by MOUs/Service level agreements

● Only compliant trade will receive benefits

● Transparency, simplification and strong enforcement will be used to discourage non compliance

● Single Window Environment will be modern and competitively structured and focused on Service, revenue and national security

● Border Management will be based on advanced information and maximun use of direct electronic input, managed on the basis of intelligence led risk management covering people and commerce
