Blue Molly(Classic Rythm and Blues)
Blue Molly was formed in 2007 by a group of close friends. The band loves to perform blues, classic
popular favorites. The band is quickly becoming a new favorite and their energy and camaraderie on stage is obvious as they create a unique connection with audiences of all ages. And with a lead singer who has been likened to a young Aretha Franklin, what’s not to love?
Afro-Zep(Led Zeppelin/Afrobeat)
Afro-Zep is a collective of Chicago musicians that assemble a few times a year to perform a set of all Led Zeppelin tunes re-done in the style of Afrobeat and Afropop. Some tunes are straight mash-ups of Fela Kuti and Zeppelin; others are Zep tunes but set to original grooves, and still others are stripped down arrangements featuring African drumming. Arrangements such as this show how the roots of Plant and Page’s songwriting can be traced even further back to the roots of blues music.
David Gerald(Detroit/Mississippi Blues)
David Gerald, the son of Mississippi born parents, grew up to the sounds of the blues and R&B music in Detroit. He started playing the guitar at the
rediscovered the blues and the music of B.B King and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Gerald cut his guitar and vocal chops live and in person with a variety of local bands. Now in his 40’s, Gerald is playing nationally with his own band, performing at clubs and festivals.
The Lincoln County Process(Roots/Blues)
The Lincoln County Process, featuring Jen Sygit, Sam Corbin, Geoff Lewis, and Joe VanAcker, is a roots/blues band based out of Lansing. After years of touring as an acoustic duo, Jen and Sam expanded their collaboration, eventually forming the electric band they are today. With soulful vocals and rich harmonies, the group brings a new sound to their wide selection of original music.
Dutch Henry(Alternative/Americana)
Dutch Henry is an alt/country/pop band that was formed in Michigan in 2001. The group took its name
which Dutch Henry was the villain. The four-member band has shared the stage with national acts ranging from Colbie Calliat to Los Lonely Boys. Their music has been featured on college, satellite, and local radio and has been used by both Hewlett Packard Computers and The Outdoor Channel.

Randy SchaapRandy Schaap began playing harmonica in the 1980’s while playing bass with a gospel music group in the tri-state area. His unique blues style was shaped by artists such as Buddy Greene, Charlie McCoy, and the music of blues legend Little Walter. Currently, Randy plays in many different venues, local recording studios, and the Downtown Holland Street Performer Series.
Doug PetersonHailing from Kalamazoo, Doug Peterson approaches his music with irreverence and a sense of soul felt sentimentality. His sound has been likened to Cat Stevens, Billy Corgan, and Weird Al playing for a Victorian tea party after the wine has arrived. Performing a set, he can move seamlessly from a folk ballad, to a melodic hard rock anthem, into a quirky geeky love song, all while engaging his audience with anecdotes and personal stories.
Matt GabrielBorn and raised in Grand Rapids, 23-year-old Matt Gabriel has been playing shows on stage for nine years now. The last four of those years have been spent performing all over the country, from the noisy jazz bars in the deep south of Louisiana to the singer/songwriter coffee shops of Seattle. An honest blend of folk and blues, it’s the exact quality of music you would expect from a young man who grew up between Chicago and Detroit. It’s music you can trust and believe in.
