The sophisticatedly cool characters of Nicholas Karadzhov are harnessed in formations, which are served intelligently and aesthetically. No matter if they are still lifeor people, the paintings breathe with a mild melancholy and their aura spread a particularloneliness and romantic elegance of an expectation, of incompleteness.

The rigidity of the painted women gives an impression of statues while the paintedstatues come alive in the moonlight for potential adventures. Biography of the artist Nikolay Karadzhov Born on 8th August 1950 in the

village Malchika, Pleven region.Graduate of the Art Academy, "Painting" at Prof. Nenko Balkanski class  in 1975.Since 1976 he participates in the artistic life of Bulgaria. In 1979 he became a member of the UBA. He participated in numerous group exhibitions in the countryand in representative exhibitions of the contemporary Bulgarian art in Austria, Holland, Finland, Portugal, the former USSR, Romania, Czech Republic, Mexico,Costa Rica and more.Individual exhibitions:Sofia - 1981, Lovech -1984, Riga / Latvia / - 1986,” Lessedra "- Sofia-1994,London, Leighton House Museum – 2000, Rousse- " Aruid " gallery-2005 and Rousse-  the lobby of the “Income building”- 2010, Sofia - "Impression art" - 2011Nikolai Karadzhov’s works are the property of the National Gallery of Sofia, Sofia Art Gallery, many county and city galleries in Bulgaria. Collections of his paintingsare in the collections of the connoisseurs from all over the country.
