Nimble Streamer is a freeware lightweight media server. It’s capable of live streaming via ABR MPEG-DASH, ABR HTTP Live Streaming, Real Time Messaging Protocol, Icecast, and MPEG-TS. The ABR VOD feature set allows easy transmux from MP4 content to HLS and MPEG-DASH. All with no license fees.

The WMSPanel SaaS platform allows easy configuration to any number of Nimble Streamer servers. This includes the definition of incoming live streams and the setup of outgoing streams, their parameters and their ABR settings. There’s also an easy-to-use wizard to set up VOD streaming.

A paywall framework allows businesses to protect and monetize content. This includes hotlink protection, geographical location restriction, and pay-per-view feature sets. They may be applied, both together and apart, to any number of Nimble Streamer servers, while the API allows flexible deployment.

The WMSPanel web service may collect statistical data from multiple Nimble Streamer instances. This gives the content owner a multidimensional picture of the streaming audience. White label access provides display flexibility for the delivery network operator in order to show its customers the designated metrics.
