XXI The project management shall advertise at least in two local newspapers widely circulated in the region around the project, one of which shall be in the marathi language of the local concerned within seven days of issue of this letter, informing that the project has been accorded environmental clearance and copies of clearance letter are available with the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board and may also be seen at Website at http://ec.maharashtra.gov.in

XXII Project management should submit half yearly compliance reports in respect of the stipulated prior environment clearance terms and conditions in hard & soft copies to the MPCB & this department, on 1st June & 1st December of each calendar year.

XXIII A copy of the clearance letter shall be sent by proponent to the concerned Municipal Corporation and the local NGO, if any, from whom suggestions/representations, if any, were received while processing the proposal. The clearance letter shall also be put on the website of the Company by the proponent.

XXIV The proponent shall upload the status of compliance of the stipulated EC conditions, including results of monitored data on their website and shall update the same periodically. It

shall simultaneously be sent to the Regional Office of MoEF, the respective Zonal Office of CPCB and the SPCB. The

1) A] As per your application, you have provided Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) with the design capacity of 200 CMD consisting of primary & tertiary treatment followed by RO & MEE to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD).

B) The treated effluent shall be 100% recycled into process, in cooling tower & utility to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge. In no case treated effluent shall be disposed of outside factory premises.

2) A] As per your consent application, you have provided sewage treatment plant with designed capacity 25 CMD for the treatment of 21 CMD of sewage.

Sched ule-IV General Conditions: 1) The applicant shall provide facility for collection of environmental samples and samples

of trade and sewage effluents, air emissions and hazardous waste to the Board staff at the terminal or designated points and shall pay to the Board for the services rendered in this behalf.

2) If the MIDC pipeline is broken! overflowing chamber, in such cases industry shall not discharge their treated effluent into MIDC drain, it shall be sent to CETP by tanker.

3) Industry should monitor effluent quality, stack emissions and ambient air quality monthly/quarterly.

4) The applicant shall provide ports in the chimney/(s) and facilities such as ladder, platform etc. for monitoring the air emissions and the same shall be open for inspection to/and for use of the Board's Staff. The chimney(s) vents attached to various sources of emission shall be designated by numbers such as S-I, S-2, etc. and these sh"nll be paintedl displayed to facilitate identification.

14) Separate drainage system shall be provided for collection of trade and sewage effluents. Terminal manholes shall be provided at the end of the collection system with arrangement for measuring the flow. No effluent shall be admitted in the pipes/sewers downstream of the terminal manholes. No effluent shall find its way other than in designed and provided collection system.

15) Neither storm water nor discharge from other premis shall be allowed to mix with the effluents from the factory.

16) The applicant shall install a separate meter showing the consumption of energy for operation of domestic and industrial effluent treatment plants and air pollution control system. A register showing consumption of chemicals used for treatment shall be maintained.

17) Conditions for D.G. Set a) Noise from the D.G. Set should be controlled by providing an acoustic enclosure or by

treating the room acoustically. b) Industry should provide acoustic enclosure for control of noise. The acoustic enclosure/

acoustic treatment of the room should be designed for minimum 25 dB (A) insertion loss or for meeting the ambient noise standards, whichever is on higher side. A suitable exhaust muffler with insertion loss of 25 dB (A) shall also be provided. The measurement of insertion loss will be done at different points at 0.5 meters from acoustic enclosure/room and then average.

c) Industry should make efforts to bring down noise level due to DG, industrial premises, within ambient noise requirements by proper sit~,ih

measures. . d) Installation of DG Set must be strictly in compliance with recomrp~

manufacturer. e) A proper routine and preventive maintenance procedure for D . s t should be set and

followed in consultation with the DG manufacturer whic 'ol,!ld elp to prevent noise levels of DG set from deteriorating with use. ...
