Niyaz

1000-floor building

Dutt lives on the curvature of the 500th floor on planet 27. This planet is

one of the 420 planets which exist in a galaxy called Don.

The building which Dutt lives in is made of mixture of blue dust and red

gas.

Dutt and the rest of building residences, at the beginning of every night, get

in interplanetary express train. The enthusiasm of Dutt and the rest of its

friends causes train to move at a speed beyond imagination and reach the

considered planet before the blink an eye.

Dutt and all of its friends are learning from the time they remember .they

never get confused; never become looser . . . because all of them have

enthusiasm to the same level .Dutt will go to 201st planet.

Planet 201

The first thing that they learn ,when Dutt and its friends reach to planet 201

, is how to put themselves in the field of other colors , because this planet

and even its creatures have been come into existence from many variety of

colors . Here is that Dutt and its friends learn wonderment, too.

The residences of planet 201 also learn somethings about Dutt and its

friends. They understand that the residences of planet 201, that Dutt is one

of them, have come into existence from a mixture of dust of moon and light

of sun

When night is over, Dutt and its friends have come back to their planet and,

look at the arrival of interplanetary trains from their room inside . . . . . .to

the creatures whom have come their planet in order to learn , and they will

leave there before sunrise.

Sit down watching; Dutt and its friends from the 1000 -floor building, turn to

peace before enthusiasm. This is sort of learning, too. Looking at new

comers and doing nothing.

Just in this moment . . . . the moment that Dutt sits down watching , its

inner dusts get displacing and rearranging . . . . . . It experiences a

strange feeling: luminosity beforetime, somebody has wanted it.

Another night comes and someone‘s place in express train is empty. Even

Dutt is not on the curvature of the 500 floor of the building, too. Generally,

Dutt is not on the “Don” galaxy.

On the Don Galaxy, but train stops for nobody. For this the rest continue

and the room number 500 remains empty for an uncertain time.

The middle floor of sky –scraper

Ayda lives on the middle floor of a sky-scraper which is located in western

hemisphere of a planet called Earth. The sky-scraper which Ayda lives in,

is made of glass and iron and another things else that Ayda doesn’t know

about them too much.

Ayda spends most of time in her room and when she looks at street from

her always closed window, people and cars have been reduced in small.

Ayda thinks in herself that if she lived on the top floor of the sky-scraper,

maybe she would have seen just clouds and or the very tiny spots that

continually move this way and that way.

Now it’s the season which schools are standstill. But Ayda’s parents are not

off and go to work every morning and come back tired in the evening.

Ayda is controlled and supported by the closed-circuit cameras in and out

of house. It’s impossible that bad thing happen to her. There are baby-

sitters of sky-scraper, too. They come to Ayda’s home and check her every

2 hours, for 5 minutes.

Just on time, from the central kitchen of sky-scraper, Ayda’s favorite food

comes up from the specific hatch which is arranged in kitchen and got

placed on the table.

After eating launch, Ayda paints a little. She lies on bed for half an hour on

the right side, half an hour on the left side and half an hour in supine

position and daydreams and talks to herself till the playing time with

children.

When the playing time arrives, a baby sitter comes and takes her to the

floor which is the play saloon. Ayda plays with the rest of children of the

sky-scraper for one hour. Then they eat electuary of ice cream and fruit and

chocolate for evening meal and sometimes a piece of cake with a little

juice.

Then Ayda comes back home and talk to her parents about the day they

have spent. Her parents have arrived before her and are resting. She

makes doughy doll with her father. then as the same as every night she

takes a shower and dries her hair and parents kiss her and fondle her a

little and let her eat her dinner which is two pieces of pizza in her bed room

and watch one of the animations which her parents have chosen for her

and laugh until gets tired of laughing and or feels sleep and sleep and

mother or father turn the TV in Ayda’s room off by remote control unit from

themselves room.

But that night, despite that Ayda was not sick and has not a sore throat,

couldn’t eat more than one piece of her pizza. Worst of all, she burst into

laughter and could not sleep. Although something was moving in her pupils

of the eyes …………then in beating of her heart and at last in her

stomach……. .Ayda had a strange feeling. Although whole of her body had

changed into an opening which too many water gathered behind it. Water

was boiling but was not hot …..it was cold ……as cold as the sight that

came out of Ayda’s mouth.

Ayda felt that too many TV noise instead of cartoon characters stuck in her

eyes that these TV noise want to show her something that she is not able

to sight it. But she knows that she should see someone.

No alert went off and till morning nobody will find out that Ayda is not in her

room any more. She is also not in the sky-scraper. And won’t be until

unknown duration. She had vanished with a piece of her pizza.

Stony houses of mountains

Manny lives in the broad foot of a high mountain in a stone house that the

roof of every house is the yard of another house except Maany‘s house

which the foot of the mountain makes the yard. And this stony house is

located in northern hemisphere of the Earth. The distance between

Manny’s house and the sky-scraper which Ayda lives in, is too far, but is

near to the galaxy which Dutt lives in.

Every morning, Manny gets up early before ending night, and grumbles,

wears warm clothes and then goes out with his parents, they clean stable

and cows. They milk the cows and pour new forage for them. As the same

as their other neighbors, they can’t take the cows out for grazing, why now

is winter and everywhere is covered by snow.

Even without thinking, Manny knows what they are going today. After

milking the cows, they come back to warm home and mother pours some

milk into the special dish for boiling milk, and Manny stands the oven until

milk boils and turns down the oven before milk lathering. He picks up kettle

of boiled water which has been prepared previously by mother , and sets

three earthen glasses on the table and mother makes for them a mixture of

milk and boiled water and sets the table and all three taste the hot milk and

let its heat penetrate deep into the their bone marrows.

And then as usual, Manny immerses a piece of bread in hot milk and pulls

it eagerly.

Manny likes to taste well the favor of eatables and this is one of the most

delightful things that Manny does it.

Then , father also goes out of home for other tasks and mother turns to

affairs of house .since it’s the season which schools are standstill, Manny

most of the time goes for his story books and sits beside fireplace and

reads the book loudly in order to his mother hear it , too.

After sunrise, Manny’s friends come to his yard foot and turns to explore

among snows with each other.

At the noon, all of them come back to their house. Manny eats launch with

his mom and dad. They rest a little and then Manny and dad as usual find

something to repair and mom gets busy with knitting. Manny and dad turn

to cow’s affairs before sleeping and mom prepares a light dinner along with

a little snack and dad and mom , along with eating , every other ,tell

strange stories about unknown creatures for Manny. Then, Manny goes off

sooner than the rest of children of all of hemispheres.

Today, as usual, wakes up early and likes to sleep more, as the same as

every morning. He cleans the misty window with his hand and looks at

snows. He likes to get hide under blanket . . . . . but today as if something

moves in his throat. He has a strange feeling . . . . . his throat wants to talk

to him in an unacquainted language. Everything is tying in the bottom of his

pharynx.

Manny senates the salt heat of something on the top of his tongue and

doesn’t grumble as usual. He opens the closed window of his house. Even

cold breeze can’t cool this heat of the bottom of his pharynx. He picks up a

handful of snow and stares at it. Somebody wants to talk to him.

Manny does not exist in his room like early every morning, before ending

night….also his room ….. . Manny is not in the broad foot of mountains of

northern hemisphere. And nobody knows where he is. Nobody will know till

uncertain duration, too. He is disappeared with a handful of snow.

Anonymous and homeless

A boy who has no name, no home ……….his parents are dead and doesn’t

know laughing, is walking in southern hemisphere of the earth under

burning sunshine. From the beginning nobody knows that he has been

existed and now is lost…..

The boy just runs barefoot and without any shoes and doesn’t stop when

he gets tired. When his feet are wounded he doesn’t stop but he walks. He

is not searching for a house and name and parents who are dead. He is not

searching for finding new world, too. He is not also searching for a hero

who saves him, because a story never has been told to him. He doesn’t

care about the women and children who are helpless. . Even he doesn’t

think that why boys of southern hemisphere die earlier than boys of other

hemispheres, or why little girls become mother before understanding. The

boy who has no name, until 3 days ago maybe was running and escaping

just for himself .but 3 days ago, suddenly, momentary pause has stopped

him. Something has been displaced in his ear. Even before that Dutt and

Manny and Ayda felt their inner displacement.

The boy looked at his hands. Elongated bony and running ... his hands

was running before his feet ……… he had heard a sound and was moving

to that side. He had deposited himself to the wind which was drawing him

to the east. ... He had a strange feeling ... the feeling of evaporation and

precipitation somewhere else. Someone was calling him.

The boy who was vanished from before ……. Still was continuing

……..and no one will know till unknown time that where has been an

anonymous and homeless boy and where he will go?

Dutt

Dutt has been arrived first of all. It was not enthusiasm that made him to

go this intergalactic journey in an undefined moment and reach its

destination. But Niyaz caused this happen.

Niyaz

Niyaz lives in a dark underground crumbling house in the eastern

hemisphere of planet Earth. Of course, it was not always been like this.

But Niyaz doesn’t remember how everything was before ... because

everywhere is dark. Niyaz Just recalls a loud voice, with the collapse. The

collapsing of her house, her parents and her heart.

Niyaz only remembers breathing and fear. Somebody should understand.

Somebody should find Niyaz. That's why Niyaz first had thought about the

light. It was this way that Dutt showed up.

To see better, Dutt must always move within himself and he thought: here

is even darker and more starless than dark galaxies. Even than the black

holes...

Dutt never experienced such a planet. He was getting restless and more

restless. To the extent that finally saw Niyaz.

Crushed between soil and stone and wood ... no enthusiasm in her face to

be seen. It was only fear...

In the school of its galaxy, Dutt had learned how to become like creatures

of every planet and now he understood that this lesson how much

important was. For this, Dutt transformed itself to a head like this crushed

creature’s head that had a brilliant and gold –colored halo.

Niyaz groaned. Dutt groaned too.

Niyaz, who was more scared, opened her eyes. Now She could see

better. She tried to make moves but she burst into cough. Dutt also

coughed.

“Who are you?” Niyaz asked.

“Who are you?” Dutt asked, too.

“Are you angel of death “? Niyaz again asked.

Now more or less, had understood Niyaz’s meaning, Dutt replied: “I am

here. Because you wanted.”

Niyaz smiled and coughed again: “Somebody is thirsty…..”

Dutt shone more and asked: “is it now better?”

Niyaz said nothing more and looked at Dutt that moved like grains of

sand, and still waited.

Dutt also waited. Niyaz feared less. She didn’t know that how many times

she has stuck in there, but she knew that she is too hungry and thirsty, but

not more than one whom she has been waiting for.

Niyaz faintly shifted a little and stared into Dutt’s funny eyes. And little by

little her eyelids grew heavy and decided to sleep instead of waiting.

Dutt understood that Niyaz should not sleep. For this, begun to describe

the galaxy which it has come from…….

Curiosity and wonderment had caused Niyaz get interested in the images

that was creating bye the words in its head, and waits.

Manny

When Manny arrived, still a handful of snow was in his hand. Suddenly

had been slipped from the Earth's northern hemisphere and had fallen into

a hole that was more brilliant than out. Manny searched for the light

source. Dutt was there. Manny had heard many stories from his parents.

From creatures and different places ... but this one was something else.

“Where is here?” Manny asked.

“It’s Where Niyaz there is”. Dutt replied.

“I am Manny. What are you? “Manny said.

Niyaz that had heard Manny’s voice, cried: “somebody is thirsty.”

Manny saw Niyaz by Dutt’s assistance and took the snow towards Niyaz’s

lips. Although Niyaz’s dry lips liked to touch whole of snow, but they

couldn’t. Niyaz was waiting for someone. For that, he slid half of snow

between her dry lips and the other half remained in the hands of Manny.

Niyaz was a little cool. Manny did not know why or how he is there, but did

not ask anything. If Niyaz wanted to wait, Manny still waits.

To encourage Niyaz and Manny, Dutt talked about life on its planet and its

friends and while Niyza and Manny were listening to it, continued their

waiting by watching images inside Dutt’s head.

Ayda

Ayda came after Dutt and Manny, just when Niyaz was curled into the belly

because of hunger.

Ayda did not know how she has been entered from the TV noises into this

dark and suffocating and tight place. He had not even thought of darkness

and tightness. His parents did not tell him anything about it. The stories

she had read or heard, was full of lights and glamour. School teachers had

never told him anything about the existence of such a place.

Here was full of dust and pollution, but their home was not even a speck of

dust. Aida thought: What if I get sick?

But she forgot everything when she saw Dutt and looked at Dutt with wide

eyes. Dutt, like Aida opened his eyes and this caused greater

brilliance. Ayda gave a short scream.

Dutt gave a short scream, too. Ayda was about to laugh. Also Dutt ….. And

then Manny, too…….

Had heared Manny, Ayda went towards him and said:” I am Ayda…”

“I am Manny and this is Niyaz.” Manny said.

“I’m Dutt.” Dutt said.

“Is this a kind of game? “ Ayda asked.

‘I don’t think so.” Manny said.

“So, why we are here?” Ayda asked.

“It’s for the sake of Niyaz. “Manny replied.

Ayda that is now realized the Niyaz, looked at her in wonder. So much that

was surprised to see Niyaz, not surprised to see Dutt.

So far, Ayda has not seen a daughter to this weight loss that her body is

covered with dust and soil. Ayda looked at Niyaz ‘dark eyes and felt that

she likes to cry. She had never experienced such a feeling, even when she

was knocked down in the grass in the park.

Ayda went to Niyaz and sat down in front of her. Niyaz with pale eyes said:

“somebody is hungry.”

Ayda took the second piece of pizza which Ayda had brought with herself

to Niyaz, and Niyaz snatched it and ran a small bite to it.

Manny said: “Don’t hurry up. Chew slowly.”

Ayda said: “yes he is right….. Once a mouthful stuck in one of my friends‘s

throat and she was suffocating ……. She had not chew well ………..she was

taken to the hospital and she was confined to bed to doctors teach her

how to chew food.”

Manny laughed out loud as if he has heard a funny story... Dutt laughed,

too. Niyaz content herself with a smile, and tried to chew slowly the

mouthful which she has bitten, and kept the rest of pizza in her hand. Then

Manny and Aida and Niyaz looked at Dutt who is telling stories about

planets of its galaxy, and waited.

The boy

When the boy reached, Niyaz was suffocating because of lack of air. Ayda

and Manny was looking for somewhere to be able to exit Niyaz from the

basement. Dutt found a small opening and they by the help of each other

took Niyaz towards opening. Niyaz groaned.

The boy was standing out of the basement and on the rubble of collapsed,

and he knew here is where he should stop. The sound of bullets and

explosions could be heard from far away, but this was not the sound that

had brought the boy here. He had heard the groans of Niyaz. Just like

when he was running in the southern hemisphere of the Earth planet.

The boy began moving the rocks that weigh more than the weight of his

body. He was picking up bricks and shunting the soil away.

Manny and Ayda in the basement were picking up the obstacles. Dutt

shined more and more. Niyaz felt fresh air on her face, and then she burst

into crying and said:” Here it is...”

The boy stared at earthly faces getting visible, and took a deep

breath. Then he took his scrawny and bony hands inside the hatch that

had been opened, said. For a moment, he wondered from seeing Dutt but

with the help of Manny and Aida, pulled Niyaz out of the basement and ….

When all stood on the crushed house, they remain silent for a long

time. Ayda had never seen such a scene in nowhere. ... Sounds ……..were

unfamiliar for her. Lights that were being produced by sounds were not at

all like light and or lights and lamps of house of which Dutt had them. It

was not even like celebrations fireworks. Ayda had pain in her eyes,

because she was not good at crying. Ayda asked: “So, where are

skyscrapers …..”

Manny liked to ask the boy: “Who are you? “But he did not ask. He was

afraid of knowing. For this he was not fine. Manny still felt the intense heat

that gives the taste of salt on the bottom of his throat. He was thinking of

milking the cows before the end of the night. Of snow ... of the stone

houses that their roofs were the yard of other stone houses, the assured

hands of father and the warm and kind look of mother …………….

Niyaz was looking for her parents and cried hoarsely. No one knew what to

say to Niyaz to make her calm, even Dutt did not know to do what in these

cases.

The boy who did not know that he have to walk or stand ,was hearing too

many sounds …………from southern hemisphere ……….northern

……..western and eastern ……….he knew that nowhere is his house …….till

there are these sounds ......he won’t have no name ……. sitting on a wall

collapsed, the boy thought that how much tired of unpleasant sounds he

is.

Dutt looked at all guys. And lumined in their eyes for a long time and

understood that how easy is brightening them. Dutt needed all of its

friends. Guys needed all of their friends, too.

Dutt thought: if my friends come, we can connect all eastern and western

and northern and southern points of this planet to each other. Maybe a

1000-floor building will be built that in the curvature of the 500th floor, this

boy experience peace before enthusiasm, too.

Once Dutt thought to this case, at the moment undefined, all the sky got

full of small lights that were landing. Some bodies had wanted them.

Ayda was still confused, went to the Manny and took his hand and her

tears finally flowed and said we need a lot of pizza.

Going to Niyaz, Manny by Ayda ,and taking her hand, said: “we need a lot

of snow.”

Going to the boy, Niyaz with Manny and Ayda and taking the boy's hand

tightly in her hand, said: “I am Niyaz. I knew you were missing ... I have

found you. I asked Dutt to come and help you. I always heard the sound of

your walking by shaking of ground. And when our home collapsed, the

more I heard. I knew you finally will be founded. Come on ... I have kept

this for you.”

Niyaz gave the remaining piece of pizza to the boy and the boy did not

know what to do with it.

Niyaz said:” bite it …..Chew slowly ……”

Manny also gave to the boy the remains of the snow that was melting and

said:” So, was it your voice wounding my throat?”

Ayda while crying said: “Were my eyes burning for seeing the wounds of

your leg? Who are you?”

Dutt who was the reflection of all the good feelings of the children, had

been located among them and was shining with the thought that: East and

west and north and south of the planet are connected. So Dutt asked the

boy:” Now you know who you are?”

The boy that did not know laughing smiled for the first time and thought....

Then it would have been heard ... seen …. felt ... and while setting out by

Ayda and Manny , she replied: “no ... but I think I know what we're going

to do ... Dut …will you stay with us ?

Of course, Dutt wanted to stay for an uncertain duration. But he said

nothing and moved ahead of them. He had many stories to tell and put the

images of them in their heads and his head to watch, like all of his friends

were doing the same thing.
