The campaign has a website that is up and coming and at the moment is linked to Transplant
Sport. It will soon have its own identity and will represent all of the Charities that support the
campaign. For now the link to the website is http://bit.ly/29J0vss
We will give you further details as soon as they are available.
PATIENT INFORMATION FROM THE NKF
HELPLINE
Some Kidney Patient Associations help local patients by funding
medical information leaflets for their Renal Units. The NKF produce
and print our leaflets in-house and therefore the logo of your local KPA can easily be
added to each and every leaflet to show that they were funded by the local kidney
group and any number of leaflets, however small, can be produced.
The NKF can offer this service to any local KPA wishing to provide medical
information leaflets in this way. There are over 150 titles to choose from and your
local renal unit will be able to let you know which leaflets would be most helpful.
Our medical leaflets are strictly document controlled which means that they are
reviewed and updated by medical professionals every two years so that no out of date
information is provided. Please check that any NKF information you may have is no
more than two years old as this will help with our document control system.
4
Prices range from 25p per leaflet which means that 10 leaflets will cost just £2.50 so if
you want ten each, of ten different titles, the total cost will be just £25.00 including
postage. (Larger leaflets can cost slightly more).
If you would like to receive a list of titles available please contact the
NKF Helpline on Tel. 0845 601 02 09

Christmas Stars
As you will see from the photo, we have received very many Christmas stars that are now on display on our Christmas tree in our head office, each star has a message to a loved one that has sadly passed away, thank you to everyone that took part.
Thank you for supporting the NKF this
year, we have seen more people than ever
taking part in various events and
supporting the charity in general - this is
fantastic news as we can maintain the vital
service we offer to kidney patients and
cares across the UK.
I hope you and your family have a great
Christmas and your dreams come true in 2017 whatever they may be.
I look forward to hearing from you in the New Year.
