It is notified for information that Savings Gift Tokens will be withdrawn from sale at Post Offices and Postal Agencies as from 1st August, 1946.

2. Savings . Gift Tokens already held by members of the public can be used after the abovementioned date, before the expiration of six months from the date of purchase thereof, as a deposit in a Palestine Post Office Savings Bank account or exchanged at any Post Office for cash. They may, however, not be ex­changed for Palestine Savings Certificates after the 31st July, 1946, on which date these securities will be withdrawn from sale.

ADJUDICATION OF CONTRACT.

The contract for the supply of 3,000 kgs. of soap and 230 dozen tablets of carbolic soap to the Palestine Police Force has been awarded to Messrs. Izhar Ltd., Tel Aviv, at LP. 136.500 per 1000 kgs. of soap and 285 mils per dozen tablets of carbolic soap.

Period of contract is 3 weeks.
