T his is the 4th year for this great event with cattle from 14 enthusiastic breeders.This really is a fun event for both the consignors and buyers with some great

networking and working together. There are many of the same consignors in this year’ssale, although there are some great new contributors as well. There truly is something foreveryone from white, to red factor to Full French. There are show prospect heifer calves –some right out of the show strings, proven brood matrons and some great bred heifers,

all with genetics that will add value to any program.

As we have stated all along, Candace and I think it is important for breeders, whether you are buying your first purebredfemale or have been in the business forever, to get together and exchange ideas and genetics. We want to set this stageand welcome everyone to come the night before the sale and join in a mixer at the Jay’s Inn and Suites hotel. Book yourroom early and if you have trouble getting one, ask for one under the No Borders block or contact us and we will help getone booked for you.

The cattle market looks great for the long term and the shortage coming in the Charolais bull market is very exciting. Thisspring saw a historically high bull market and this will continue as this fall it was very evident that pounds pay andcrossbreeding is essential in the commercial industry. There is truly an endless opportunity in the Charolais breed and weencourage you to come and join in these exciting times with us.
