High School Transition

Year 6 will be attending the first transition session at The Henry Lawson High School this Friday 23rd November.

Students are to make their way to the High School; unless they are involved in the swimsafe program.

Students involved Swimsafe program, will come to school as normal and a bus will take them to the High School at the

completion of their swimming lesson.

At the completion of each day, they will depart from the High School. Please note if you have any changes to your normal routines on theses days please discuss with your child and contact the High School if necessary. The students

are to wear their normal school uniform and they are able to use the canteen facilities if required.

All dates for transition are: Friday 23rd November

Friday 30th November

Friday 7th December

End of School Year

School finishes for students on Wednesday 19th December.

We will be having our Presentation Day/ Christmas Concert - Monday 10th December

Parent Helpers’ Morning Tea - Wednesday 12th December

Year 6 Farewell - Thursday 13h December.

Reports will go out - Thursday 13th December.

Whole School Assembly

This Friday 23rd November we will be having a Whole School Assembly in the hall at 12:30pm.

Kindergarten Transition 2019

During Term 4 students attend transition a half day per week and a full day on the last day.

Students arrive at the Kindergarten room after 11:45am and are collected at 3:00pm.

Please ensure that the staff are aware of any medications and/or allergies that your child may have upon arriving or prior to arriving at school.

What to bring: Lunch, water bottle and a hat.

This year we are having a Christmas raffle.

For this raffle, we ask for donations of Christmas themed non-perishable goodies such as; decorations, books, chocolates/lollies, tea-towels, candles, soaps, toys, Bon bons etc….which will be bundled together into hampers.

Raffle tickets will be sent home next week and the raffle will be drawn at the Christmas Concert.

P&C– Are catering this Saturday 24th November for a clearing sale at “Hopefield” (Forsyth’s property) Quondong Rd Grenfell.

If you can spare an hour between 9:00pm-1:00pm that would be appreciated.

In addition we are seeking donations of cakes/slices, please send in to school this Friday.

4th Sunday Children’s Liturgy

Next Sunday 24th November St Joseph’s Parish Grenfell will be holding the usual 4th Sunday Children’s Liturgy at the 9.00am mass. This service is particularly aimed at primary school age children and all are welcome to attend. Following mass there will be morning tea at the church. This will be the final Children’s Liturgy for 2018 and will recommence when school resumes in 2019.
