It also seems that theSMS volume is linked to the ringing volume. i.e. if the I set ringing level 1the SMS alert is quiet and so on.An improvement: The 'No Service' areas between cells seem to have disappeared.When the phone does go 'No Service', it will very quickly log onto a new cell,usually within a few seconds. A great improvement from the last. the display! In other places, e.g. the phonebook, everythingis normal! thoughA problem with Nokia Data Suite 1.2 (NDS). The infra red function has nowgone intermittent. I have confirmed this by using a V3.14 phone whichworks perfectly with my installed version of the NDS. Basically if I connect the phoneusing the RS232 cable the NDS works fine. If I then disconnect and re-connedctusing IR, also no problem. If I then disconnect and re-connect a 2nd time using Ir I getno connection.
