Main ObjectiveDevelop a representative database of theBrazilian scenarios for the exposure of workershandling pesticides in Brazil by Mixing, Loadingand / or applications, and seed treatments tosupport the occupational risk assessment.
Scope
To develop a pesticide handler exposure database
To provide guidance, support and training on the
exposure of workers exposed to pesticides in
Brazil.
To support and develop technologies, systems and factors that mitigate the
human exposure to pesticides.
To extend technical / scientific activities, as
required (studies, discussions, etc.).
Institutional Actions
Involvement and input in discussions and events related to pesticide handlers and workers exposure with regulated and regulatory sectors;
Participation in working groups/discussion with several agencies that aim the elaboration of regulations related to pesticide handlers and workers exposure.
