MAY 4-6, 2016!

This is the fifth year FCS students and parents have participated in this special chapel which is sponsored by the FCS Student Gov-ernment. Over the five years, the school has donated over 1300 inches of hair from 103 participants. There is also a number of par-ticipants who have given multiple times.

The students at FCS held

our annual Children with Hair-loss Chapel Monday, May 4th in the gym. Over 500 stu-dents, faculty and parents watched as 16 students and

a mother participated in the school-wide chapel. There was also one teacher and two students who had recently cut their hair. They donated it to be mailed in with the day’s donation. Several local stylists donated hair that had been collected in their salons. Twelve local stylists, led by Barbi Lee from the Salon, gave their time to make the service project possible. FCS sent over 333 inches of hair to Children with Hairloss.

Michelle Johnson, the student government advisor and organ-izer of the event said, “It is amazing to see children and teens getting excited about helping others. This service project is very close to our hearts; we hope that it will continue to grow in the future.”

DATES FOR CAMPOUT ‘16
