Trail

Lots of work on the trail is getting doneearly this year. 2 Weekends in a row,Jim had a bobcat out on the Orange

trails making repairs and adding bridges. The new section of the Orange is

finished and welcome to riders, enjoy thewoods and bridge instead of the nastycurve on the road! This was a much

needed addition. Thank Roger R, Ed W,Jim, Bev, Ellen and some of Jims familyfor getting this project done. The SwampTrail bridge was also redone and looks

Great. Helen Murray, Ashley w andJasmine have been hard at work on the

Red & Blue Trail keeping it clear andready to go, its looking great! As soon as

Ellen is able they will go in and fix theculverts on the blue trail to the Lake she

will. There is also much neededattention to the pines trail on the Yellowjust down from the swamp trail. Helen M& Ellen are looking into the reroute trail

that use to be there so that it will beready for the OQHA Ride. As of right

now it is advised to use the road in thissection because of the mud and roots,

see facebook for updates when it isready and next months newsletter.

Camp

The Spreader is out being empted at thistime and will be ready for the weekend.

Kliff C. Is having to use his personalmower for the camp because the spindle

is broken on the camp mower. It wasvoted to a lot $100 to fix this. Thank you

Kilff for taking care of this! Camp hasbeen looking great because of him! Theaddition is done over the sink area (Fewminor finishing touches left) Big thanksto Keith L, Wayne H, Adam L and all

else who pitched in, along with using alltheir personal tools to get the job doneright!. Tom donated & installed lights

and a fan out there, big thanks! Greg Band Brian Mc brought their tractors downand spread gravel around the fire pit andunder the new roof area, WOW how nicefor bringing their own equipment! Gregeven put in the new posts for the signcoming in the drive. Helen M Remadethe driveway sign since the old one felldown, using all her own paints!. Keith L.

Is repairing the one table top and willbring it back once finished. New conduitwas ran by Bob fritz and Roger. R New

lights were installed outside for theplayground by Tom F and Jessie Carroll.

Ray D installed a purifier for the icemachine!! Tom F also repaired the Horseshoes on the Dick Baus sign on pavilionbefore they fell and the dinner bell so it

rings again.

Arena Update

Its looking great for the weekend!! RickAlborn was able to come in and finish

grading and putting in the final culverts. There is an area we will have to watch

for sinking, we will have it marked.(where the old culvert came through

before.) This will be an ongoing issue buthopefully not to bad, no way around it tillit silts in, which was expected from the

start. You will see a few permanentobstacles in the arena for the OQHAride, these will be staying in, enjoy!!Greg & Cynthia personally made &

donated all of them, thank you! We arestill working on getting donations for

fencing, but at this time we are able touse the area as is. If anyone would like

to put on a fundraiser for Tri-Co oranything feel free to contact Jim or come

to the meeting to set something up. Atany of the current events, feel free to usethe area for games if someone wants to

organize them.

Spring Ride SPRING

The water line by the lower housesprang a leak at the already wet SpringRide. Luckily Greg Bauman was niceenough to spring into action and get atrack hoe to dig the water line up, wentand picked up all the parts and repairedit with Ray D. And Klif C. So that therewas water in camp for the rest of theweekend. Cant Thank them enough!

Raffle Update

Currently Klif C is at $1616 Raised. Weare super far from where we need to be,

Please sell what you can.

Civic Center BIG NEWS

Bernie turned in $702.90, $100 will go tothe Massillon Saddle Club. Unfortunatelythere was not enough interest in taking

over Bernie’s position for the CivicCenter and we are no longer going tohave this fundraiser. This raises an

average of $7-10,000 each year andpays our taxes, insurance and land

lease. We ask everyone to please stepup in other areas to help cover these

costs. The big raffle can raise us$10,000 a year alone if everyone buysthere tickets that were mailed to them.

Most years we only profit $2-3,000. Justcoming to the events and participatingwill be a big help as well. Also, we arenot able to do the Time to ride challenge

this year since we won last year, thiswas a new rule they added so we will not

have this opportunity as well.

Stay on Trail

Please keep horses off land ownersyards and fields. There was an issue of a

horse on the Spring ride and the landowner is not happy for the schooling of a

horse. But this could have been amisunderstanding where they did not

have control. In the future pleasedismount if you can not get out of thegrass timely and if there is damage

please let the land owner know, apologize and offer to fix, this may go

over better with them. Thank you.

Lot Numbering

If you are a lot holder, Leroy W hasMetal numbers that will look great and

help you or someone coming to see youfind your lot. Please label your lots if you

can, call Jim for questions.

Pick up Please

Just as a common curtsey, we alreadypick up after our horses, please pick upafter your dogs as well and remember, they need to be kept on a leash at all

times while in camp.

Voted & Misc

Voted to donate a small basket with ashirt and hat to Team Morgan Fund

Raiser for June 19 at 12p at WalbornReservoir. Reminder to make sure wateris off when you use it, some was left on.

4-H Essays

AQHA Essays was a big hit, 18 wereturned in, come and help support Tri-Coand the 4-H kids, the more we make themore grants we can fund…and the more

Tri-Co makes as well. They will beannounced at the Ox Roast.
