HISTORY OF GIVING TUESDAY
Launched in the United States in 2012, Giving Tuesday has grown to be a global day of giving.
A day to give back: Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday and kicks off the giving season. More information about the global campaign can be found at GivingTuesday.org.
Think grassroots: The day was built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in countries around the world. Millions of people come together to champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.
This year, Giving Tuesday is December 3, 2019.

WHAT COUNTS AS GOOD?
An act of good can be many things: giving money, volunteering, or donating items.
Good is also sharing influence, surprising with kindness, attending an event, or giving a pint of blood.
