1.0 INTRODUCTION
Geophysical surveying was completed over four grids ( Main. South , White Road and Highway 516) between May 6-11. 1994. The surveys include data from a magnetometer and horizontal loop electromagnetic unit Surveying was completed on grid lines cut between March 25-31. 1994. The purpose of the program was to locate a number of poorly tested and untested AEM anomalies within an area of felsic volcanics prospective for economic massive sulphide mineralization.
2.0 LOCATION AND ACCESS
The Potts Twp property is located approximately 22 km north of Emo. Ontario (Figure 1). The claim block can be accessed by travelling north from the town of Emo on a secondary road through Off Lake Comer. A tumoff to the west approximately 2.6 km north of the Off Lake Corner leads to the center of the claim group. The Hwy 516 grid is located immediately northeast of the Off Lake Corner.
3.0 PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

4.0 PREVIOUS WORK
A portion of the Potts Twp property was explored for base metals in the early 1970"s by CANICO (Canadian exploration arm of International Nickel Company) in joint venture with Hudson Bay O9 and Gas. A ground E.M. survey was completed on pace and compass lines to locate several AEM conductors. These conductors were then tested by three drill holes (totalling 776 ft) between 1972 and 1973. The holes intersected narrow intervals (1-3ft) of semi-massive pyrite and pyrrhotite with up to 1* sphalerite and chalcopyrite. Mineralization was hosted in brecciated felsic pyroclastics and intermediate tuffs.
The same property was re-staked by W. Cummins (Etobicoke. OnL) in 1988. and geological mapping along with ground E.M. and magnetometer surveys were completed between 1988 and 1989. This work was completed to relocate the CANICO AEM anomalies and to evaluate the base metal potential of the property.

5.0 GEOLOGY
The property is located within Archean volcanics in the west central portion of the Wabigoon Subprovince. The volcanic assemblage includes mafic flows and tuffs, felsic flows and pyroclastics, and minor metasedbnents. The volcanics form a northeast-southwest trending belt bounded to the east by syntectonic granitoid intrusives and to the west by late tectonic intrusfves. The volcanic pile in general faces southeastward. The rocks have undergone greenschist to lower amphibolite facies metamorphism.
Preliminary mapping has identified massive to porphyritic rhyolite flows with minor tuff and lapM tuff horizons intercalated within mafic flows and minor sediments proximal to AEM anomalies. Several apparently untested AEM anomalies occur on the north portion of the claim group, north of the previously-tested CANICO anomalies. Thicker overburden cover in this area obscures geological interpretation. Mineral assemblages indicative of hydrothermal alteration have been identified hi several localities proximal to the AEM anomalies.
6.0 GRID PREPARATION
A total of 23.45 line km of grid was cut on the Potts Twp property between March 25-30.1094 by Stares Contracting of Thunder Bay. OnL This cutting was completed on four grids (Rg. 2) designed to cover poorly to untested AEM targets. The Main grid (8.2 Bne km) consists of a north-south base line with 100m spaced wing lines. The South grid consists of a base line at 130* with 100m spaced wing fines. The White Road grid consists of a base fine at 60* with wing Ones at 100m spacing. TheHwy516 grid has a 130* base line with 200m spaced wing fines.
7.0 SURVEY STATISTICS AND INSTRUMENTATION
Statistics
The Potts Township project is divided into four separate survey areas: the Main Grid; the White Road Grid; the Potts South Grid and the Highway Grid. The South Grid is a grid extension of the Main Grid with the two grids connecting at Baseline 100+OOE and Baseline 500+OOE respectively however for the results presented in this report both grids are treated as separate entities. The White Road Grid and Highway Grid are independently separated from the other survey areas. Each grid was surveyed by Noranda personnel J. Maclsaac. C. Ritchie, and C. Sedleski using HLEM and magnetic techniques between May 7-10.1994. Line spadngs between 100 and 200 meters were selected to provide detailed and regional coverage over the survey areas. Approximately, 25 km of magnetic data and HLEM data were collected over the entire survey area with a summary of the data collected for each grid is as follows:

Instrumentation
Magnetic:
A Stintrex IGS proton precession magnetometer system was used. Total magnetic field readings are taken with a precision of 0.2 nT or Gammas, although the accuracy is generally +A 5 nT. Normally, readings are corrected for diurnal variations using an identical recording unit set up as a base station in a non-anomalous area. However, for this survey no base station magnetometer was available and field readings were corrected for diurnal variations by looping off the baseline stations.
Survey readings were recorded at 12.5 meter intervals along the line.
HLEM:
An Apex Parametrics MaxMin l horizontal loop electromagnetic unl was used. In-phase and quadrature readings are measured as a percentage of the primary transmitted field. The readings represent characteristics of the secondary induced field. They are recorded at a phase separation off 90 degrees to provide maximum information. The readings are normalised to the primary field using a cable which connects the transmitter to the receiver. Readings can be read to +A 0.2 percent although they are usually only accurate to +A1 percent
For this survey readings were taken at a 25 meter interval along the line. A coil separation of 150 meters was used and readings were recorded at frequencies of 1760 and 440 Hz.
8.0 GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY INTERPRETATION
Main Grid
The magnetic signature across the Main Grid indicates a central north-south trending discontinuous magnetic high flanked to the east and west by flat broad magnetic lows. The signature broadens from a narrow peak at the northern end of the property to approximately 400m along the southern extent of the survey. Isolated highs within the central zone indicate the inhomogeneity of the unit and appear to correspond to the mafic volcanics observed in outcrop. An isolated high situated on L104+OON at 98+OOE appears to be connected to the central trend but its relationship is unclear.
The HLEM survey indicates a conductive axis that spans the entire length of the grid survey. The axis parallels the western edge of the magnetic between L120+OON and L10B+OON and then deviates along a NNW trend to the southern limits of the survey area. The magnetic signature associated with the conductive axis is significantly stronger in the southern half of the survey area and suggests that this conductor is independent from the northern extension. A brief interruption of the conductive axis at L107+OON supports this interpretation. Along most of its length the conductor is very weaken seimens) with predicted depths to the conductive axis greater than 35m. Out-of-phase responses suggests extensive overburden in this region. A stronger response on L101+OON and L102+OON indicate the possible shallowing of the conductive axis.
South Grid
The magnetic signature on the southern extension of the Main Grid indicates a south-easterly swing in the volcanic pile. A weak magnetic trend parallel and 100 meters west of the main trend suggests the intercalation of mafic and/or felsic units. An isolated strong magnetic response at L501+OOE. 496+50N is unexplainable.
The HLEM data indicates the continuation of the conductive axis from the Main Grid with increased conductance and shallowing depths towards the south. A corresponding magnetic signature is associated with this axis. Three past drill holes set-up to evaluate the nature of this conductor indicated small intersections of pyrite/pyrrotite with minor chalcopyrite. An isolated very weak (1 seimen) conductor
is observed between L500+OOE and L530+OOE at approximately 495+25N. No magnetic signature is associated with this conductor.
White Road
The magnetics divides the White Road Grid into two distinctive domains with the strongest response occurring in the Southwest comers of the survey area. The higher magnetic signature contoured along the eastern portion of the survey area corresponds directly to the low signature observed at the western most extremes of the Main Grid. The higher apparent magnetic response observed in the White Road Grid is a direct result of independent datum values selected for each area.
Two sub-parallel conductive axis beginning on L698+OOE l 698+OON and LB97+00 l 700+50 extend south-westerly outside the survey area. Both anomalies show weak responses except for a single
on L698+OOE where significant conductance values are observed. A thin strong magneticresponse separates the two conductive zones. Both anomalies indicate relatively thin bodies and significant overburden cover. Although survey coverage is incomplete between the White Road Grid and the Main/South Grids the stratigraphic position of these anomalies may be similar to the weak anomalies observed on the southern portion of the South Grid.
Highway Grid
The magnetic data indicates a broad weak (K 100 nT) signature that bisects the survey area.HLEM coverage on the same grid was interrupted by a stream that cross cuts the grid and is
incomplete. A weak response observed on L519+OOE. 503+25N requires follow-up with a larger col spacing. No other significant conductors were delineated.
9.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The most interesting massive sulphide targets detected on the Potts Township Grids were identified on the South Grid between L500+OOE and L540+OOE l 502+OON to 500+OON respectively. Surveying to both the east and west of the Main Grid, primarily to interlink the outlying White Road and Highway grids but also to determine the stratigraphic continuity of the conductive bodies is recommended.
A program of detailed geological mapping is recommended to fully outline the nature of the bedrock adjacent to the conductors outlined above. This should be accompanied by lithogeochemical sampling to trace the extent of hydrothermal mineral assemblages previously outlined during preliminary mapping.
